Judge Denies Sony's Request for Expedited Discovery Against Geohot

Geohot finally got a break today, when the judge presiding over his case denied Sony's request for expedited discovery. "A hearing on SCEA’s Motion is now scheduled on March 11, 2011 at 9:00 a.m." As a result, Sony cannot send out any of the subpoenas mentioned here.

"On Thursday, there will be a hearing on the Temporary Restraining Order (“TRO”) which was previously granted without a hearing."

If a hearing is not held by February 10, 2011, Mr. Hotz will be forced to surrender his storage devices to Plaintiff SCEA, and will continue to be restrained, without a hearing or consideration of the substance of the TRO Order. A hearing is also needed so that Mr. Hotz may limit the breadth and vagueness of the TRO.

It was dam hard to run a pirated game on Geohotz firmware

when he said no piracy he ment it

But new custom firmwares seem to only allow Piracy and Linux

That image "signed" by the judge seems...correction, is EDITED! I thought it was odd at first how the word "Grants" is crossed out and "Denies" is over it. Then "February 9, 2011" is scrached out and "March 11, 2011" is again written above it.

The kicker is the original date that it's signed....NOT FLIPPIN WAY!! This would be voided as any contract because it's been marked and can be considered forged! Therefore a new document would be created without any edits/markings and dated the day it was put into motion.

I call fraud on this information!

Not to mention, the legal documents were uploaded to multiupload??

or maybe its sonys way of sneaking behind the devs and stabing them in the back when infact the motion was granted im not believing it until i see some more definitive proof.
