DemonHades has created an official support thread for those with questions about the upcoming JFW DH 3.41 and JFW DH 3.56 MA. The thread will be updated as users submit their questions, given they do so in the proper manor. You can read the latest Q&A regarding JFW DH below, as roughly translated by Google from Spanish to English.

Hello Demons, after reading in different parts of the network see that there is still much confusion about JFW DH 341 and JFW DH 356 MA.

ok maybe my broken english understanding isnt up to par, but i am on 3.55 rebug on a fat ps3, i can use the 3.56 version of this new jfw correct? and it will allow me to play 3.60+ games?

No, your ps3 needs a downgrade to 3.41, then the JFW 3.41DH version. The 3.56MA version is just for owners of a new slim model, bough with a 3.56 firmware (minimum firmware accepted by the system) Ah, you need to keep your original BD till the last day you want to play a game. It's needed for download plugins for a game, your original BD disk is used for check. If you don't own it, you cannot download any plugin

From the look of it, you are definitely going to want to downgrade to 3.41 if at all possible because the 3.56 MA seems to not have a lot of features found in the 3.41 version. I wonder how long it will take to over ride the need for a blu-ray disc? I hope it doesn't take long. The coolest thing about having a modded PS3 is that I don't have to get off the couch or run down stairs to change a disk. This is disappointing news.

Still, If I ubderstood correctly, you CAN play new 3.6+ games, but cannot play them unless you own the original disc?? . . .Well damnit. I already downloaded Dark Souls, now what am I gonna do? Not to sound rude to DH's effort, but I hope someone will find a way to bypass his plugin defense.

Maybe a BDR works.. Do you have a BDR drive on your pc?

Yeah Im good and confussed now.....when does JFW 3.41 DH come out? I dont care if you need the original disc to play a 3.6+ game, I think it will be awesome!

The whole point of me having my console jailbroken, is so that I can try a game before I buy it. Because I don't want to pay £40 for a game and then find out it is utter shit. Some games are not even worth the fee to rent them. I will only buy a game if it is actually worth it.But because of his anal anti-piracy bullshit assuming everyone who downloads a game is instantly a pirate, I can not do that. It goes back to having to actually own the game.This has completely abolished the point of having my PS3 jailbroken. Infact, it completely abolished the point for 90% of the people who have their PS3 jailbroken.
