In my experience PS3UserCheat is not working. It just returns to XMB.

Same with me, I wish people would test them before they post.

This is only a gratefull player that want say THANK YOU to ALL DEVELOPERS that continue to put a VERY HAPPY SMILE in our faces. Im in 4.21 since.. not day, minute one they posting the new cfw..reading very carefully the instructions. I was in 4.20 Dex (much apreciated THANKS to the developers), no more downgradings (only hated that part) But this, Rogero 4.21cfw (free) changes all, no more emu of my originals. Now I can play my originals DOA5,Transf_FFC, 2K13, make of my owned games backups(MM), play my 3D lastest FW original movies with no problems, make updates without waiting for a 3.55 fix patch...Yess. And also sorry, to those how have bricked their players. You know that those guys will come up with solutions sooner or later. Dont be angry an support the DEVELOPERS they deserved our respect and gratitude.

Can someone please point me in the right direction here, so much information! my head is gonna explode....I have a Slim on 4.21 never been modded before and am trying to figure out the best way to downgrade without hardware, from what i've been reading its now possible to do it with software? but not exactly sure as to where to start, or can i just install 4.21 cfw directly? any help in this is greatly appreciated and sorry in advance for being such a noob lol all gotta start somewhere right?

Downgrading has to be done with a flasher, so hardware needed.
you can Only install this cfw if you are on 3.55 or below. for your case
ill advice you to wait just a bit longer, a cfw which can be installed
on any ps3 should be in the works and hopefully be out before christmas
in time for black ops 2. i personally have updated my ps3 to the latest 4.30
discovered i can buy games cheap from ebay,play them, then sell them on.

i am very curious to know if this KMEAW guy is thinking about unleashing another cfw, he was the saving grace back in 3.55, i have total faith in him.i hope he IS working on a true universal stable cfw. id even pay to get it,that guy is a legend for me.

So usercheat and reactpsn no good? I think there is another version of reactpsn floating around but i hear that one is buggy will see if i can track that one down.

Could anyone verify that GAIA MANAGER v2.7 (latest) can be resigned to work on CFW 4.21 ?
Here is the original latest PKG by Drizzt: GAIA207-Unicode-GAMEZ.pkg

I know that most people prefer Multiman but not me! XD
I would like to still use Blackbox + Gaia.

You must be on 3.55 CFW to install any CFW.
You can only downgrade from CFW by software
Depending on your PS3 model you can use a hardware flasher, some models are out of luck (ANY OFW higher then 3.55 requires a hardware flasher)

What model PS3 do you have?

don't rely on this information. It could be very well in the works but any ps3 before christmas i would bet against that one.

I've seen these have already been posted but I'll shed a little light:

PS3usercheat/Code Unique will not wore as it is based on an old multiMAN (old BDEMU)
ReActPSN might work partial as to work fully the vsh.self would need to be patched (I believe one funtion doesn't need)
dev_blind I've tried and it won't mount (but dev_blind incorperated into mM works fine)

I very much doubt Gaia will ever work as it is abandonware and like Code Unique based on the old 3.55 BDEMU (unless drizzt comes out of hiding to update it himself)

upgraded from 3.55 KMEAW on FAT cechg03 to Regero CEX 4.21 no problem - rename PUP file , only issue is the NETWORK Connection, updated Blackbox 1.2 - for 4.21 get 8**** error ?? , and have a PKG for Urbanix but cant get PSVita to see the PS3 HELP please
