  • Hermes Manager v1.3 for CFW 3.41 Released

    Hermes has released his Hermes Manager v1.3. There is not a lot of changes to this latest version, but it does use the latest Hermes payload v4D. It still has the same basic functions with the ability to choose the EBOOT.bin desired. This version is only for CFW 3.41. It is also compatible with the old dongle, but in that case there will be some inactive features.

    Features of Hermes Manager:

    -Like Open Manager does, it allows loading games from internal and external HDD, Bluray and also games copy, test and delete
    -Includes the psgroove-hermesv4D payload with the signed self
    -It’s shown in a 4x3 icons screen graphical interface.
    -It allows screen adjustment, games directory and background color change.
    -It reduces the buttons use and the possibility of making a mistake by pressing the wrong one (especially designed for children)
    -Includes FTP support (OpenPS3FTP), the possibility of blocking the syscalls (through internal key : it’s recommended to compile the program changing "hmanager_key" for another one) and the possibility of launching PS3LoadX directly.
    -Possibility of replacing new games EBOOT.BIN with an external one
    -The games settings are saved in a separated directory


    Changes in version 1.2:

    - BDEMU added to launch games from /dev_usb00x/PS3_GAME with black screen like Modern Warfare. Allow to launch games from /app_home/ without any Bluray disc inserted. (it needs the option "BD Emu (for USB)" in "On")

    Changes in version 1.3:

    Version 1.3 Changes:



    -Added Auto patch PARAM.SFO (it renames the original file as _PARAM.SFO)

      Glad to see people are still working on older things for the peeps that don't want an upgrade.

      multiupload already provides a mirror on megaupload as well.

      I know, just a few times I have clicked it and it doesn't work so I just upload one just in case.Also some times the multiupload link gets deleted.If you dont want me to post mirrors all stop.

      While it's hard for me to grasp why people aren't willing to upgrade to newer CFW's (after they have been thoroughly tested), I really do appreciate these devs for thinking about and taking the time to work on stuff for older software.

      I do understand the concept of "if it aint broke, don't fix it" though.


      Should we assume that KatyPerry is going to become the Master Uploader around here?
      That is also something I can appreciate. Helping out the scene is what this place is all about.

      We'll get it ported to 3.55 soon, hopefully tonight.

      Now I have hermes manager v1.0 so I know that it says that v4b payload is inside it and since I ran Raging Blast 2 on it... and it went with success... my ? is this like hermes payload v4b backup manager or something ... even though I have a ps jailbreak clone?
