PlayStation 3 developer Rogero has updated his version of custom firmware, aptly known as Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7. Another method for those wanting a 'plug and play' solution to their PSN and custom firmware needs.

About :

v3.7 Changes:

Updated the Passphrase to allow PSN/SEN access without the need to use any other tool, just install the CFW and connect to PSN/SEN. Credits to eussNL and the PS3DevWiki for the valuable and always up-to-date source of information.
Added a fix in the CFW for the old Black Screen Titles that needed: USB Mount (Rogero Manager) / Select+X (Multiman) to run from external HDD. Now the same titles can run from internal HDD fine too with this CFW. Credits to Deank for his continuous efforts on Multiman and many other PS3 tools/fixes.

Usage / Compatibility:

Can be used for Downgrade directly using a hardware flasher like Progskeet / E3 Flasher / Teensy++, etc...
Can be used for normal system update like any other CFW/MFW from XMB or from Recovery Menu.

my ps3 is 3.60 and i can not install in HDD if i use Rogero can i put games in to HDD plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz anyone answer me .

you must be 3.55 or lower.

Hello.

I have not been keeping up with the PS3 scene for a while but have just upgraded to this firmware from Cobra firmware to get online again but when i try to connect to PSN i get error code -80710104

Am i missing something here?

Appreciate any info.

just to confirm, could we go back to kmeaw when psn inevitably gets patched? what i mean is, would installing kmeaw overwrite the files that were patched or would we need another step to avoid anything bad happening?

Is this a good switch from kmeaw 3.55? Or should we wait for a new kmeaw? How do we install this anyway?

hey i have a banned console, with kmewa and ****psn and psidpatch i have psn ,i testet rebug no psn i check rogero no psn and with psidpatch on both no psn, with banned console rogero and rebug dont work! so iwant go back to kmewa but i cant there is the 4.25 spoof on rogero where can i change or disable the spoof on rogero from 4.25 to 3.55?

install kmeaw in recovery mode.

Just installed it and can't login to PSN. Gettin an error (800...). What shall I do to login into PSN?

maybe try changing your password. i remember a while back when we first started to get psn back, that was needed. idk if it pertained to that error though

Go to playstation web page using your PC and change password on your PSN account. After that you can use PSN/SEN what ever they call it now.

My PS3 is hacked and I tried to update to this firmware but it still gave me the usual ban error "You cannot sign in with this account" (again, my actual ps3 is hacked not my account). I tried this account on my 2nd working ps3 and it signed in. Soo....what do I do since I have a hacked PS3 while the PS3 system is banned...any magic possible to make the PSN work again on a banned PS3?

My question is why? Why go back Rogero uses KMEAW as a base so it has exactly the same compatibility + spoof +blackscreen fix + etc..
