  • GTA IV Construction Mod + Source Code - Ultimate Sandbox Tool

    JDMAlex, Grand Theft Auto IV Master Scripter, and one of the four founding fathers of the Official GTA IV Mod Team, is back with the ultimate modification for what can be easily called the greatest sandbox game ever. I present to you, the Constuction Mod + Source Code. Forty-eight tools and the ability to save your progress, what more could you ask for. And like his last release, you will need Three-Socks ModManager in order to use this mod.

    I wont be working on this any more.. too much stuff going on right now..

    all controls are the same as below with one addition (savemenu)


    What this does is allows the player to build with spawned objects you can adjust the coords of the object as well as the orientation and set the camera view angle this is not perfect(yet) it is in the early stages but it does work

    Controls:

    Activate Object Spawner = L2 + CIRCLE (NEEDS TO BE ON FOR ALL BELOW TO WORK)

    Activate Save Menu = STICK_L(R3)

    To Select Obj= R1
    To Go back 1 object= L1 (not working at the moment)
    To Spawn Obj= X


    Select Controls: R2 + CIRCLE
    Switch between 3 modes:
    Adjust object XYZ
    Adjust Camara XYZ
    Rotate object XYZ


    After choosing Use:
    DPAD UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/CIRCLE/SQUARE to adjust object or camara



    NOTES:
    currently there are only 9 objects in this beta and as of yet you cannot save objects , also if you close script objects will disappear.. this is just a beta.. it will improve.

      Sorry there seems to be confusion in the post... There is no way currently to save your progress .. It's just a building tool

      The save progress thing I have in the source code only saves the game and it doesn't keep the objects but may come in handy for other things .. Just to be clear on that

      you know,next release has to be an MK charater,GTA vs MK,that would be the most insane crossover ever,unless you say DC Universe vs babies.
      EDIT:you know,i just noticed something,various models have CJ on them,is this a reference to GTA San Andreas?

      So i can see this as an issue , if you have downloaded the pkg and installed from http://psx-scene.com/forums/f276/%5B...v1-2-a-101889/ then follow:

      you will have to use a file manager(i use mutiman's file manger) and look on internal dev_hdd0 for path...

      dev_hdd0\GAME\BLES00229\USRDIR\ (Bles00229) being my version of the game , Yours may be diffrent depending what package you used
      now look for update.img this is now where your scripts will go

      follow instructions from : http://psx-scene.com/forums/f276/%5B...v1-1-a-101890/ for adding a new script to modmanager (may be tricky for new learners)

      then follow how to compile your code and add your sco to update.img http://psx-scene.com/forums/f276/%5B...cripts-102230/


      If you use the old method with trainer.img... follow all above but for path location it will be in :/BLES00229/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/common/data/cdimages/trainer.img


      or just wait and ill figure something out for beginner users..
