Graf_Chokolo Forced to Remove Certain PS3 Related Pages from his Blog

Once again today, Sony has flexed its muscles against the underground PS3 development community. Sony is focusing its attention back on graf_chokolo. The mega electronics corporation was able to force graf_chokolo into removing certain pages from his blog, which contained information on his PS3 development. They were able to get him to comply by legally threatening him with a fine of 250,000 Euro or six months in jail. However, these pages weren't lost forever, as certain people have them backed up.

Hey, we should take down grafchokolo blog temporarily because SONY wants 250000 euros from me if i do not do it.Dontaion page should be up.Could you do it please or i will got to jail this time for 6 months.

not sure yet, they prohibited me everything, putting my ps3 into servuice mode too

how to put ps3 into service mode and other ps3 technical stuffmy documentation how to this and that, and so on

so if we don not remove my stuff then i guess i will have anice time in jail

SONY forced us to remove all PS3 technical stuff from this blog guys. I wonder how did they manage to “convince” the judge to allow it. Our law system is practically “eating” from hands of SONY, very sad. Many guys are making money with USB dongles for PS3 and i’m not allowed to put MYssssssssssssss PS3 insto service mode, it’s hilarious.

They claim that my OtherOS project supports piracy. I never had anything to do with piracy. Everyone knows it, make it clear to those judges who gave SONY those TROs against me. It would be interesting to know what kind of person those judges are and what they look like.

This is so messed up on so many levels, what kind of a world do we live in when a company can do so many awful things to a guy who has not been charged, taken to court, or voliated any laws. I only wish I had this needed skills to really give the middle finger to $ony, but what I can do and I will not support this company, it's kind of like Wal-Mart others may choose to follow like sheep, but I will not. Be Strong Graf....

If they really were going after him because of piracy, they would go after the devs that create the backup mangers and the torrent sites that provide the backups. What I think is that maybe there is something that Sony doesn't want graf to find because either its this really big exploit that Sony can't patch or something Sony doesn't want made public, like stolen technology that would support LG's claim on Sony's BD-Drive

i agree the main two ppl that sony is after is graf and geo and they both had one thing in common they were working on giveing BACK OtherOS first thing that comes to my mind is that sony is hiding something behind OtherOS or that they were paid off to remove OtherOS and used geo as cover to get rid of it and want it gone for good but i am thinking more of sony is hiding something with other OtherOS or they wouldnt be so gun ho about it

Sony probably has a ton of GPL violations he could find, knowing them it would be no surprise

they dont realize the ******g games suck HARD VERY HARD they need to step there Game(s) up and stop calling there trash exclusives so Microsoft wont get it and making it so high quality that the wii cant handle it no one wants to pirate the dumb **** 3 hour game wana bees with horrible story and of a tard online fanbase

Who in hell would want to wait From hours to days and possibly weeks to pirate a game that wont even last for a day? for what its worth i could just wait outside a gamestop and Beat some guys *** who bought a game and LOOK i got it and it was paid for no 2 people have the same copy AM I PIRATING!!!! NO i dont have my boat, crew, or fancy hat so its just me getting what i want....

When i got pokemon pearl some idiot tried to do that to me lol i mashed his face into the dirt i waited weeks for that release

microsoft gets most of the exclusives for two reasons 1 the xbox runs more and better pipelines "yes i know sounds funny but look it up" and 2 the games dont take as long to make less time to make means more money in the pocket and whats the one thing that everyone wants more money in the pocket most games for the ps3 are ported from the xbox so sometimes but not always they look better on the xbox

That's actually what I was thinking. The thing is, the exploit used to get the keys was a vulnerability only on a couple linux builds. So if the exploit worked on the ps3, then its obvious that they used one of those builds as a base for the firmware. The interesting thing with that is that all the versions with that vulnerability were licensed as open sourced under GNU GPL agreements. So if this was proven, wouldn't $ony be forced to release the ps3 source code?

Eitherway im backing up many old blog posts from Grafs blog as we speak.
A lot of posts are backed up at the PS3 dev wiki already so it might be a good idea to backup the PS3 dev wiki in case Sony decides to censor more free speech.

I'm sorry but laughing is the last thing they are doing, if they felt it was a laughing matter they would leave the guy alone. And how dare you use George T. , I have a feeling he would be all for the spread of info, especially considering where that clip came from. Maybe we can get him to take you from a Turkish bath house to a gay bath house so he and Brad can hose you down.

I agree with you but you shouldnt blaim torrent sites I hate how media and everyone does it.

How is it the torrent sites fault for hosting a file/files that it does not know are pirated or not no you go for the person who originally uploaded the file/files to that torrent site

I also agree something is majorly hidden in the ps3 and it is very very big otherwise we wouldnt be seeing so much legal action if we look back to the psp and playstation 2 and playstation we never saw this much legal fighting

atleast microsoft dont appear to be so nazi

I think its about time Graf started going anon... He has balls and all but come on, one thing is to have balls and another thing is to be reckless. Do like Kmeaw and use mediators. Also, work in secret and release under another name or Anon. Problem solved.

There's something hiding in there... I just know it. They just won't let OtherOS be back.

Guys, lets not pirate games or do boycotts. Lets get together and help bring OtherOS back, that'll piss Sony off more than anything, so that should be our main focus here.
