    Drizzt, has compiled a new version of Gaia Manager, bringing it to verison 2.05. This new version brings even more stability by using a hardcoded payload as well as adding in some Syscall36. Also, Gaia Manager has always "cleaned up the Sony log's since October 2010." That feature has always been active and working with Gaia Manager!

    Change Log:

    v2.05

    * Use harcoded payload (less crashes)
    * Use another payload (with syscall36), it should never crash inside game now
    * Reminder * Gaia Manager has the Sony logs cleanup since October 2010 and it's always active and working


    If your having trouble with black screens and freezes, make sure to run Lv2 v6 (OMG) then run fix permissions found below:

    Yes, the screen does turn black, but do not worry. Just watch the HDD indicator light to make sure it didn't freeze, then it will bring you back to the XMB.

    Run the Lv2 OMG application every time before running Fix Permissions.


    It seems that a lot of folks are having issues installing and running backups on there Ps3′s due to the bug in PL3 that effects file permissions. Here is what I have been doing to get around the black screen hangs and disc read errors.



    1. Fire up multiMAN, blackb0x, whatever ftp & transfer your backup
    2. Run your lv2 pkg of choice
    3. Run the fix permissions app that is installed from running the package




    The app will go through the HD and correct the file permission errors that come with using PL3. I have been using this method after each game backup I install,
    however if you install (ftp/copy) 5 at a time the app only needs to be run once and it will fix all 5 games as it does its magic to the entire drive.
    Now as far as USB, hamster driven HD’s etc I can not say as I do not have any of the above so I have not tested it myself.

      At the moment Fifa 2011 (with patch 1.03) and some other few games may not start since I've not integrated a patch that would fix that problem, but it adds some instability (crashes)

      Why am I getting the 80010009 error everytime I try to run a backup?

      Can we just have Gaia not just clean the list but make it up of the games currently on the HDD? It doesn't sound hard to do but sending a clean list is damn stupid.

      they always did. If you are on a 3.55 CFW, just download the original eboot and modify the PARAM.SFO from 03.4100 to 03.4200 (or 03.5000 for N4S or Gt5) and it will do the trick.

      *sighs* A different day...a different error...I get the 80029564 error when I try to install the lv2 pkg...how do I fix it?

      Why would anyone need to run Lv2_v6 on a manager that patches lv2 by himself?

      Has any one successfully FTP a game to PS3 on Kmeaw.
      Wat FTP server is to be used on PS3 and PC, and which folder we have to FTP the game
      On 3.41 i used to install it under LAUN12345/GAMEZ
      Any help will be really appreciated.

      ftp working fine for me, on waninkoko fw I didnt like kmeaw had t omany issues...using newest multiman most backups working on internal and external, going o try out this gaia see how it runs so far I have liked multiman best...

      using multiman built in ftp server and using filezilla ftp client transfering 2 times at a time wired connection usually get from 9-14MB/s

      I updated to this version of gaia manager, first it wouldnt open at all (just a black screen), then I installed lv2 and fix permissions, and now it opens but when I try to run any game it never changes the disc from the one I have in it to the backup I wanna play.

      this happens to me to. . . i back up my games in my internal . . . guess this update is not for me

      Does anyone know if it works with call of duty modern warfare 2???, with the previous gaia I couldn't make it work... (black screen problem)

      fixed doesnt need to run lvl 2 v6 . . use the gaia straight from the box

      must i first delete my existing Gaia 2.04 ? Or do i just install this on top of the old one ?
