After 2 1/2 years of silence, Jimmikaelkael today officially released the FMCB1.8c-Loader, which is the first released PS2-MC-KELF generated from scratch.
The new MC-KELF-Generation was invented by Jimmikaelkael and a source/hacker, which prefers to remain anonymous.

Here's a list of commands:
PS3MCA-TOOL v1.3 Copyright (C) 2011 - jimmikaelkael & 'someone who wants to stay anonymous' Usage: ./src/ps3mca-tool <command> [<arguments>] Available commands: --mc-info, -i --mc-free, -f --mc-image, -img <output filepath> --mc-unformat --mc-format --list, -ls <mc path> --extract-file, -x <mc filepath> <output filepath> --inject-file, -in <input filepath> <mc filepath> --make-directory, -mkdir <mc path> --remove-directory, -rmdir <mc path> --remove, -rm <mc filepath> --file-crosslink, -cl <real mc filepath> <dummy mc filepath> --content-key, -ck <disk kelf filepath> --sign-kelf, -k <disk kelf filepath> <card kelf filepath>

About the FMCB-Loader it comes with:
-Compared to the FMCB 1.8/1.8b-Loader (the same in both versions), this one comes with the feature of fixing the Protokernels (a 'memory clear issues' with the ExecPS2-Call) on old consoles during runtime [when it/FMCB is started].
This fixes a few programms, which are normally incompatible to those Versions, like ESR and Cogswap.
-The generated KELF is 100% SONY-Free! That means, we can provide pre-encrypted 'Disc-KELFs' legally and everyone can re-sign them for their MCs to 'MC-KELFs' by these tools.
That's thousand times better especially for those who install it for others, since the KELF previously were re-signed DVDPlayer-KELFs from the PS2s ROM.
-Multiregion-Install is now possible from any PS2 for all regions!
There is no PS2-side Homebrew-Programm a.k.a. new 'FMCB-Installer' currently supporting those new features, but Jimmikaelkael announced that he might work on it in his free time...

Aditionally: The driver MIGHT be compatible to other MC2USB-Adapters too, but it wasn't tested by Jimmikaelkael.
