    Developer drizzt has updated ****PSN, bumping it up to v0.6. According to the comment made by drizzt on ****PsN git, this release appears to have fixed consoleid spoofing. ****PSN is a simple SSL proxy, used to spoof your PSN version and re-enable PSN access for your console.

    Since the source code for v0.6 was available, Some guy at jailbreakscene decided to compiled this version for you guys (as per the instructions provided by drizzt):


    What is ****PSN?
    A simple SSL proxy used to spoof PSN version.

    Requirements:
    * CA27.cer (included in download)
    * dev_blind.pkg (download here) or dev_blind.geohot.pkg (download here)
    * OpenPS3FTP (download here)

    Installation (by drizzt):
    1. Install dev_blind.pkg and OpenPS3FTP on your PS3 (using FTP, external USB or what else)
    2. Launch dev_blind and make it mount the flash
    3. Open OpenPS3FTP
    4. Connect via FTP to PS3 (using username root and password openbox)
    5. Go to /dev_blind/data/cert
    6. Rename CA27.cer to CA27.cer.bak
    7. Put my CA27.cer as /dev_blind/data/cert/CA27.cer
    8. Set the PS3’s PRIMARY and SECONDARY DNS server to your PC’s IP address
    9. Reboot your PS3
    10. Start ****Psn-v0.5.exe
    11. Enjoy with PSN

      hmmm. i just went on with fpsn v-05 and back on psn now, but not had to agree to new tos yet?!?!?!?! lol glad about that, but i wonder why?

      just wondering, so if i have everything installed from 0.5
      do i just update the prgoram on pc and not touch the ps3 ?

      @BanTam no you need to replace the CA27.cer from this file.

      @superhomie you need to replace the CA24 with the original one and then use the CA27 from this download.

      And a bump on my question, how can I fix error 80710D23?

      i got 80710a06 error you have been signout from psn, what i did wring? my dsn is set to my pc ip 192.168.0.10 primary and secondary

      @MetalSnake change your secondary to 8.8.8.8 that should fix that error but then you also have a chance to encounter 80710D23 which I just found out is an error to do with downloading from the PlayStation Store... which I am not downloading from :S

      Every time i try transfer the ca27 file it says filed???

      Then im stuck with a ca27 file on my ps3 that is 0 bytes?

      OOOOOOOOOOH guys i just noticed something!: 8. Set the PS3’s PRIMARY and SECONDARY DNS server to your PC’s IP address
      Both should be the same gonna try that now

      NVM doesnt work remove this post until we can make it work without breaking our heads or getting the d23 error

      that will not work

      put your pc's ip address on 1st dns
      on 2nd dns put your routers ip address
