Thanks to NODRM with the 1.06 patches for CFW users this is now playable for everyone on 3.55 CFW or DEX

Anybody that knows me knows I've been waiting a long time for this. Today every DLC for the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII-2 has been fixed for DEX convverted consoles. It is compatible with every region of the game. The reason it's DEX only right now is the DLC requires the 1.06 update. Don't fear CEX/CFW users, NODRM recently reported they'll have the CFW fixed update soon

From The Readme

tested works on Dex 4.20 with FFIII-2 1.06 patches.

How to use other region dlc
rename 2 file name to that region and copy fixed identifier.edat

ASIA DLC file name
filelist_p0000012img_c.ps3.bin
white_p0000012img_c.ps3.bin

USA DLC file name
filelist_p0000012img_u.ps3.bin
white_p0000012img_u.ps3.bin

EUR DLC file name
filelist_p0000012img_e.ps3.bin

JAP DLC file name

hmmm the fixed DLC's are sized around 200megs, which is kinda doubt me that this DLC fixes includes lightning's requiem and snow, which sizes around 700megs and 300megs. If you combine all of it, it should be around 1gigs of data.

It's entirely possible that you need the direct sony links for the dlc, then install the fix. That's what I've done on my end for the BLUS version. I'm transferring my game copy to my BDEMU drive - I'll know for sure in about 10 minutes what the real story is on this

ok then, please do send us what happen on your side, I also ha a DEX console on my PS3 but someone is using it right now so I cant really test it.

It's not working on my end. I'm getting kicked back to the XMB. It's like I thought, you'll need to install the official Sony links for the DLC (final missing pieces released a couple days ago), then install the DLC fix. If you open the pkg for the fix and look at USRDIR/0000001 / USRDIR/0000002 / USRDIR/0000003 that's where all the large sized DLC are stored.

I'm going to play around with it and see what I can come up with

OK I done my test on my side using the asian version of the game, all I done was install all the official dlcs then install the fix, and poof, it works just like that.

Probably these DLC will be usable once if "N0DRM" fixes the game update.

So it's working on your end? Could you look at your debug settings at the ones that say something like Release/Debugger/etc and tell me what everything is set as?

This game was the reason I bought a TB, and if this works, will be the reason I switch to dex...

Nevermind - I think I've got something screwed up on my side. I deleted the game data and just installed the 1.06 update and the game still won't boot. Something's broken on this end

Confirmed working on BLUS30776 (finally)

On NODRM's twitter they mention fixing it for CFW a day or two ago. Good things will come

if they release an updated one that works on CFW 3.55, does that mean it will work on TB also??? i am stil on TB firmware..

It's easiest to do for the BLUS version since all the DLC links are available but you can get at least most of it to work for other versions too if you follow the readme. I've only done BLUS so can't help much on other regions as far as step-by-step

1.What 1.06 update ? Where can I get it ?
2. So NODRM's patch , when the original 1.06 update is installed , Ill use NODRM's file to overwrite it ?
3.DLC links ? The original files ?
4.Then use the fix ? It will be installed or overwrite some files ?

It's only been 20 minutes since the last time you asked. I don't sit in front of the computer waiting to trouble shoot people's problems. Pestering me is the quickest way not to get your questions answered. Is this the first patch you've done? Did you even try?

yes this is my first patching with updating a game higher than the current cfw. My game id is blus . .
