actually it is very simple

just drag fixed edat file's with FTP or multiman's filemanager to dev_hdd0/home/00000001/exdata/ and put edat file's in exdata folder,if there is no exdata folder it means u never been connected to psn and you need to create manually.

also the folder '00000001' is your user profile id.If you have only one profile -- that is the only folder you'll see under /home/ catalog.
In case you have multiple profiles, copy the *.edat file to the one that you will be playing the game from

just tried it, but nothing. i get some weird error that it needs to connect to playstation store for a license update or something.

i had to add the exdata folder since I've never registered this console on PS Store. and I only have one profile on this console. when I added the folder, I just used multiMAN's file manager to create the folder. Is there another way to do this?

did you get it working? can you name the pkgs that need to be installed? perhaps i have the wrong ones? there are three so far. the patch pkg, the full game pkg, and the dlc pkg, plus the fix folder.

Well i didin't install DLC.pkg that is optional anyway.

I also didin't use MM filemanager to create folder but i used FlashFXP (pc) to ftp, my console also has never been on PSN so i created exdata folder manually in 00000002 since i use this one and i put all files from exdata Lara crof folder to exdata folder on my ps3,and that was it,after that i have installed game pkg. and it booted fine,i also never used reactpsn and i'm on 3.55 kmeaw.

I was able to find a fix for Lara Croft. Seems like the first 3 file pkg set was faulty. I later found another one that only requires two pkg installs and the exdata folder. Works great on TrueBlue v2.4

use Google to find the name of the pkgs and files.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS PKG (it won't work):
UP0082-NPUB30225_00-LARACROFTGOL0000-A0101-V0100-PE.pkg

Notes:

1. Put the files in the root od usb/external or Multiman's File Manager

2. Install UP0082-NPUB30225_00-LARACROFTGOL0000.pkg file via "Install Packages"

3. Install UP0082-NPUB30225_00-DLC12345FIXED000.pkg, to add in game 5 DLC.

4. Copy 7 files from folder "exdata" to /dev_hdd0/home/00000001/exdata/ (The folder '00000001' is your user profile id. If you have only one profile - that is the only folder you'll see under /home/ catalog.

In case you have multiple profiles, copy the 7 *.edat files to the profile that you will be playing the game from.

If the folder 'exdata' is not present that means you've never been logged to PSN - create it manually and put the 7 fixed files in it

5. Play.

I have the same prob on FW 3.41. Since the game is old it doesnt requite FW 3.55 to play. Should be working on FW 3.41 as well. Can ya possibly PM me where ya got the edats (and if there were multiple)?

Since the game can be DL from Sonys servers anyways (thats what ya prolly did)?

apparently, there are two files to install: a debug update (2.30), which works smoothly, and a DLC fix. However, whenever I try to install the latter, I get some kind of an error...

I don't know which dlc you're talking about, but if it's the same one that I found, then you have to use multiman to download the update for Disgaea, install it, launch the game with select+x from usb drive and then do any game install that's required. Then follow the instructions for the DLC that you found. Disgaea 3 will not work correctly without doing it this way. Might be where your error's coming in at

Anyway, here's the thing:
I already got Disgaea 3 to work and have been playing the game for a while now.
So the EXEtrimALL files I got regarding the DLC are:

UP1063-BLUS30181_00-PS03700000000060-A0230-V0100-PE (400+ mb)
UP1063-BLUS30181_00-DLCFIX0000000000 (just over 1 mb)

At first, I thought that the big file was all the DLC itself, whilst the smaller one was the fix to getting it to work on a jailbreak PS3.
However, I noticed that the larger package was just the debug update for the game (version 2.30, which was needed to get the backup of the game to run). No problems installing that one though.
Afterwards, I tried deleting the update which was already installed on my PlayStation and re-installing the new one (the one provided by EXEtrimALL); Disgaea 3 still runs perfectly, but no DLC unfortunately...

I just can't seem to get the other package to install; I keep getting a message with error 8002..something.
I don't know; am I missing something obvious here? I mean, usually you need to install something else first, before you can apply a fix, right?
Is there like another .pkg which provides the DLC for Disgaea 3?

Anyway, did you try it? And if so, any luck getting the DLC to work (or anyone else for that matter)?

I found the one that you're talking about and didn't have any trouble installing it. You're right that it is the smaller pkg that is the unlock for the DLC because it was included in the update file. If you managed to get the update installed with no problem, then use PKGVIEW and extract the flag folder and place it inside your game directory manually. Just make sure you match the folder structure inside the pkg file. If you can't extract it with pkgview, then you should just download it again to clear it up

Does anyone know how to install RE5 GE? PKG is bigger than 4gb, so can't copy to FAT32 pendrive.
