E3 Team Announces New PS3 Jailbreak(s) + Two Dongle-Free Patches

UPDATE 2: A fix for the FIFA patch has been added, see below for more info. UPDATE: Video added, showcasing Splinter Cell Trilogy HD (Disc version, not PSN version), which had not been "fixed" before by any other dongles; this is something they claim only their team can currently do. In case some of you are not aware, there has been rumors of a new True Blue clone, that is soon to be released by the E3 Team. The truth behind this matter, is that E3 have actually created their own method for playing 3.60+ games on 3.55 FW; in fact, they have found three different ways. I will let them take if from there, in this interview recently brought to my attention. Also, be sure to grab these two dongle-free EBOOT patches E3 has released with this announcement; Ninja Gaiden 3 and FIFA Street 2012.

Few days ago, there was news posted on various websites that we had cloned JB2 (aka) 'True Blue' successfully.

We clarify we did not clone any other product, but we did find the ways on how to allow the newer games to work on CFW v3.55.

Our research has found 3 different ways to allow newer games to work on older firmwares!

A way:
No need of any new keys, but allows SOME new games to work on CFW v3.55 with a special bypass.
We think the USB device on market uses this system. (Maybe)
With this method, most games even v4.11 games can run on CFW v3.55 very easily.
But there has some games that can't work with this A way.
E3 TEAM knows this A way very well and can modify a newer v3.6+ game in 10 min.

B way:
Decrypt games with it's private key and encrypt with v3.55 key, so game can run on CFW v3.55 successfully.
For example, you need v3.65 key to decrypt v3.65 game. Need v4.11 key to decrypt v4.11 game.
E3 Team can successfully get all newer keys up to v4.11.
We are 100% sure we can get all keys to v4.20 or higher FW with same way, only it takes some more time.
This means, E3 TEAM can decrypt all newer games with this B way.
As a matter of a fact, we are planning a newer CFW (no more need to be stuck on v3.55) when we have completed our research.

C way:
Modify Blu-Ray firmware to allow newer games to run on older firmware.
But only a few of the newer games can work with this C way, so we stopped researching this method.

We are in the progress of developing a new USB device, to allow users to enjoy our work with economical cost.
We will release further news and list of its features regarding this new product at a later date.

Finally, to thank all of users whom have supported us in the past with our previous products, like the E3 Card Reader and E3 Flasher, we have decided to release 2 game eboots for free for everyone to enjoy that work directly on any console running CFW v3.55 directly.

PS: Unfortunately the latest Slim 3000x consoles can't work currently with methods mentioned above, as it is fully difference design compared to the older PS3 consoles, but have no fear we are still working hard on solving this Jailbreak puzzle.

Remember our current product, The E3 Flasher is also very useful for Dual-Boot and to downgrade on older consoles, as for now we need to still stay on CFW v3.55.

Below is links to our proof videos to show our work. First we run Ninja Gaiden 3 using the A way and then second we run Splinter Cell Trilogy HD with B way, which no matter how hard you have tried the A way it will never run.

Finally, some users might have to 'Rebuild the Database' via the PS3 Recovery Menu, if their PS3 has cached the wrong ver. code from the previously unpatched SPRX file!

The E3 Team are also sorry for all the inconveniences regarding this issue.

tthousand's hint !!! To make these games playable on your 3.41 machines, simply apply the patch, and the edit the PARAM.SFO to say 3.41 instead of 3.55(or whatever).

I am not sure how anything that was said is really convincing me that E3 will have a CFW newer than 3.55. It sounds to me like they have just caught up to where TB was at last year. The free eboots are nice, but lets remember you can play FIFA12 via hacked PSN version so its not like they gave you ME3 or Max Payne or some other game that you were really wanting.

Also let's remember that TB technically does not release the patches, that is left to scene groups like paradox and others to do that are either in collusion or have atleast been taught the methods by TB. There is a reason for this as it is much safer legally for TB dongle manufactures to not be putting out illegally modified eboots. This won't be any different for E3.....you will still be depending on scene groups to provide you eboots and becuse of DRM the TB eboots are not going to work. Is E3 going to release the 125+ patched eboots that TB already has out there....unlikely. I like E3 well enough but unless they truly make a DRM that works with a 4.11 CFW then whats the point......I think you are all dreaming if you believe anyone is going to provide you 0 day eboot patches for any of these dongles. Also I am still so tired of people saying TB patches are slow to be released.....They do come in batches, but someone should really do a chart of game release dates and eboot release dates so we can somewhat debunk this notion that it takes for ever to get patches out....for some games yes it has, but maybe this has more to do with cracking method than anything else....At any rate almost every major release has a patch and I can't think of anything I really want to play that isn't patched.....Sorry to sound like a TB representitive (which I am not)....I just like results and so far they are the only company/group that has really provided anything other than BS and rumors......I would be wayyyyyy more excited if someone got a BDR emulator working like they have for 360 and WII.

Dude I must admit seems you are pretty misinformed. TB is nothing but a bunch of dirty pirates m8. sure they released something that did indeed work but Where do you get the idea that the E3 team hasn't released anything? they have done far more for the PS3 scene than those jackass true blue pricks.

Relax, I didn't assume I know the answers and I have the right to have an opinion on someone. I just find it funny how he is in direct contact with them and the videos they release has his site's name on them so watch your language. My problem is these companies and anyone who supports them like he clearly does.

So, I'm confused. Is it a dongle possibly being released or CFW? Or is it both? I hope CFW because I'm not paying for another dongle. Just let me install some CFW and/or install eboot patches myself. This is looking really good for people who are interested in buying another piece of equipment. I just hope things work out and don't end up in the dumps like the E3Flasher did. Much respect to the E3 team for their good work.

I'm not a "S fan" and too cheap? I bought a second PS3 and the games instead of one of these dongles. That would infact make you the cheap one.

Do you seriously think Sony would spend money in hiring people to argue on the internet?

If i burgled your house, nicked your stuff, should I be able to sell the stuff to make money for my "shady work"?

If they release CFW it is blatant that you will need a dongle for it. If not it will be after the dongle sells have gone down and no ones really buying them anymore.

Don't worry about it bitsbubba I take S worker not to serious they would to cut down on losing billions on CFW for the recent firmware
It would cost more in game sales losses then paying people to come here and interrupt development on CFW

I really think it so funny most people don't see that with these one hit wonders or even 100 hit

S makes billions a year on game sales and if their is CFW with all games unlocked it would cut that to 1/2 or more lost
I think they can afford to pay someone to come here and save them even more money

They did it for emulation on PS1 they did it for PS2 look at some missing dev they even did it to psp but those dev didn't care
and now they are doing it again with PS3

There are speculations that since this year at E3 (Game Expo) there were no big presentations from Sony, because many think that PS4 will be launching perhaps in 2013 and game devs are now working on that system as well. We will start to see hack commercial teams like E3 start to come out of the woodwork and start to offer hacks for PS3--since it's on it's last "heydays".

Well, the two patches released seemed to be for Method A. I think for any B way patches, they might include the dongle for those. It would be nice to see them release all the A way patches possible though.

that would mean re-releasing all of TB's patches for free, that's quite a few games (no profit there) We do have to remember they are a pro-profit clone company. These 2 EBOOTs were just advertisement
