E3 Team Announces New PS3 Jailbreak(s) + Two Dongle-Free Patches

UPDATE 2: A fix for the FIFA patch has been added, see below for more info. UPDATE: Video added, showcasing Splinter Cell Trilogy HD (Disc version, not PSN version), which had not been "fixed" before by any other dongles; this is something they claim only their team can currently do. In case some of you are not aware, there has been rumors of a new True Blue clone, that is soon to be released by the E3 Team. The truth behind this matter, is that E3 have actually created their own method for playing 3.60+ games on 3.55 FW; in fact, they have found three different ways. I will let them take if from there, in this interview recently brought to my attention. Also, be sure to grab these two dongle-free EBOOT patches E3 has released with this announcement; Ninja Gaiden 3 and FIFA Street 2012.

Few days ago, there was news posted on various websites that we had cloned JB2 (aka) 'True Blue' successfully.

We clarify we did not clone any other product, but we did find the ways on how to allow the newer games to work on CFW v3.55.

Our research has found 3 different ways to allow newer games to work on older firmwares!

A way:
No need of any new keys, but allows SOME new games to work on CFW v3.55 with a special bypass.
We think the USB device on market uses this system. (Maybe)
With this method, most games even v4.11 games can run on CFW v3.55 very easily.
But there has some games that can't work with this A way.
E3 TEAM knows this A way very well and can modify a newer v3.6+ game in 10 min.

B way:
Decrypt games with it's private key and encrypt with v3.55 key, so game can run on CFW v3.55 successfully.
For example, you need v3.65 key to decrypt v3.65 game. Need v4.11 key to decrypt v4.11 game.
E3 Team can successfully get all newer keys up to v4.11.
We are 100% sure we can get all keys to v4.20 or higher FW with same way, only it takes some more time.
This means, E3 TEAM can decrypt all newer games with this B way.
As a matter of a fact, we are planning a newer CFW (no more need to be stuck on v3.55) when we have completed our research.

C way:
Modify Blu-Ray firmware to allow newer games to run on older firmware.
But only a few of the newer games can work with this C way, so we stopped researching this method.

We are in the progress of developing a new USB device, to allow users to enjoy our work with economical cost.
We will release further news and list of its features regarding this new product at a later date.

Finally, to thank all of users whom have supported us in the past with our previous products, like the E3 Card Reader and E3 Flasher, we have decided to release 2 game eboots for free for everyone to enjoy that work directly on any console running CFW v3.55 directly.

PS: Unfortunately the latest Slim 3000x consoles can't work currently with methods mentioned above, as it is fully difference design compared to the older PS3 consoles, but have no fear we are still working hard on solving this Jailbreak puzzle.

Remember our current product, The E3 Flasher is also very useful for Dual-Boot and to downgrade on older consoles, as for now we need to still stay on CFW v3.55.

Below is links to our proof videos to show our work. First we run Ninja Gaiden 3 using the A way and then second we run Splinter Cell Trilogy HD with B way, which no matter how hard you have tried the A way it will never run.

For those users still having problems, make the SPRX file gets overwritten in this directory on your HDD containing the 'Fifa Street' game:

Finally, some users might have to 'Rebuild the Database' via the PS3 Recovery Menu, if their PS3 has cached the wrong ver. code from the previously unpatched SPRX file!

The E3 Team are also sorry for all the inconveniences regarding this issue.

Ive never bought a dongle or paid money for a jailbreak and thats not gonna change.

Next month: E3 Dongle reverse engineered! New dongle on the way.

@krytonic i am far from greedy i do alot for people in my area with all the different consoles and dont charge a penny for it when everyone else is charging £30-£50 for modding there consoles i.e. wii, xbox360, psp, ps3 and so on then there charging £5-£10 a game i do it for free unless it costs me i only do it to f**k the people off that charge for something you can get for free but dont have the knowledge to do it. I wouldnt even know where to start on making a cfw or a dongle would love to but nevermind and i didnt say everyone would choose option 1 just most its true

If I may....

The only money people get for reversing engineering firmwares is E3 (which I currently do) but I just pay someone a 30% profit to do the modding for me while I supply the equipment and I take 70%. Stuff like softmods are really worthless because anyone with a half a brain and Iq over 70 should know how to follow simple instructions on how to soft-mod something. I can understand people charging in the xbox scene since they have to flash the dvd drive. "Opening up console" Anyways the clone guys are smart because they know they wont make any money off of something many people can just do themselves. "CFW" which is why they made a DRM dongle to make profit. Guys like Deank and basically slave working for free unless (Not sure if its true or not) He is working with cobra then he is making some money. Nobody really donate to devs but only 5% so which is why the new thing is DRM Dongles and make profit. They are "Forcing" you to buy it regardless or just wont play any 3.60+ games on your ps3. At first I thought the ps3 scene was a joke in the beginning but now I see it as a large cash cow. Only downside is that all DRM makers don't have marketing to attract more buyers. The only people who know their existence is people who follow the ps3 scene.

On topic: Seems like E3 may be onto something but I will just be under the assumption that they are ripping off TB. But they MAY know how to crack the games. But once again they are saying how eboots can be cracked. (running their mouth) anyways I predict in the next 2-4 months once of these dongles will be cracked and the rate new clones keep on going I will be right. Regardless this is what happens when people want to play free illegal games. The end user is losing no matter what happens anyway while Sony and dongle makers are winning. Well I am winning too of course with the downgrades but that's another story

Great News ! I hope they dongle usb will be cheap. I can pay 20$ for this :> And we waiting for they new CFW ! If they really have new kesy it will be GOOD TIMES for US :>

20 is a reasonable price. I hate to see them make a profit and we have the new games which is unfair but it would be better off to have free CFW and free eboot and send a donations to them through paypal for their hard work. I hope they reconsider the donations through paypal instead.

Some people are getting too excited over this. They either mean they will release CFW after dongle sales go down so it isn't worth their time in doing new eboiots as there is no profit in it, or you will need a dongle to use the new CFW. My guess is that they would wait until dongle sales go down, no more profit from it, so they then release a second dongle for the new CFW to squeeze even more profit from everyone.

Anything to 30 USD is OK, and to have support after, that is, releasing EBOOT fixes ...

Did anyone complain when need to send their PS2 and pay 50-60 USD for chipmodding? No, bicouse after that, lot of money saved on games.

SAme here, even better, even if USB appear. Dont need to send PS3 to be open, loose warranty and stuff. Stick USB in it, and play free games .... i really dont see that as big problem, everything that cost like or less than ONE GAME, is OK by me ....

The keys were likely recovered! this eboot they have is signed with 3.55 firmware keys and decrypts on my PC no problem. where as the original eboot not the case..... either they found a neat little decryption trick or they have recovered the keys.

you know whats funny? i slept yesterday,and my dream,literally had to do with a 3.60+ ps3 game which had a tb patche now having a dongle free patch,and lookie here,we have ninja gaiden 3 and fifa street 2012!
keeping in mind ninja gaiden 3 seems to have been one of the most underrated games by critics,it might actually be pretty good!(DNF is another example of this)
though no interest for fifa street 2012,im sure it will caught some people's attention,fantastic work e3 team! looking forward to more patches and more progress with the ps3!

i think the cfw they are on about maybe a 4.11 cfw but you will need to use the dongle in order for it to work if they are on about charging for the dongle they aint going to release a free method with it makes no sense really does it still time will tell and they have given 2 new eboots for the average cfw user no matter how they did it no-one else has done this so hands up to team E3 ye ok they aint the best of games but still who else has done this?

As weird as it is to say this I have to side with Krytonic on this. E3 is a liability since they "spoke on how the eboots can be cracked" I mean what purpose can E3 bring that TB cant. Now you see the smart thing to do was to release Resistance 3 and Max Payne 3 (High Profile Games) They are releasing TB's leftovers (yeah I really just said that) TB can already crack games. And 99% they are ripping off of TB method and figured out how to crack games "after figuring out TB's method" LOL at the people who are kissing E3's ass. I am NOT impressed at all. If they were so "smart" why release this so long after like 3 clones appeared already? Why release this now? Whats the purpose? What's the agenda? Not trying to shit on E3 since they are the downgrade guys but this isn't their field. They just figured out TB and using it to their advantage

Want my respect? - Crack games faster than TB release your own patches FOR THAT DONGLE

If they can do that they got my respect. I'm waiting E3

Ever heard of marketing? They released the two eboots purely for advertisement.

I bought my PS3 to play games, I have a PC for other things. So if E3 Team's work will give me more games and game updates for cheap and not for $ony's ridiculously high prices, then I'm all for it!

yes i know this eboot is signed with old keys. They said that is the second method for run the new games :
