E3 Team Announces New PS3 Jailbreak(s) + Two Dongle-Free Patches

UPDATE 2: A fix for the FIFA patch has been added, see below for more info. UPDATE: Video added, showcasing Splinter Cell Trilogy HD (Disc version, not PSN version), which had not been "fixed" before by any other dongles; this is something they claim only their team can currently do. In case some of you are not aware, there has been rumors of a new True Blue clone, that is soon to be released by the E3 Team. The truth behind this matter, is that E3 have actually created their own method for playing 3.60+ games on 3.55 FW; in fact, they have found three different ways. I will let them take if from there, in this interview recently brought to my attention. Also, be sure to grab these two dongle-free EBOOT patches E3 has released with this announcement; Ninja Gaiden 3 and FIFA Street 2012.

Few days ago, there was news posted on various websites that we had cloned JB2 (aka) 'True Blue' successfully.

We clarify we did not clone any other product, but we did find the ways on how to allow the newer games to work on CFW v3.55.

Our research has found 3 different ways to allow newer games to work on older firmwares!

A way:
No need of any new keys, but allows SOME new games to work on CFW v3.55 with a special bypass.
We think the USB device on market uses this system. (Maybe)
With this method, most games even v4.11 games can run on CFW v3.55 very easily.
But there has some games that can't work with this A way.
E3 TEAM knows this A way very well and can modify a newer v3.6+ game in 10 min.

B way:
Decrypt games with it's private key and encrypt with v3.55 key, so game can run on CFW v3.55 successfully.
For example, you need v3.65 key to decrypt v3.65 game. Need v4.11 key to decrypt v4.11 game.
E3 Team can successfully get all newer keys up to v4.11.
We are 100% sure we can get all keys to v4.20 or higher FW with same way, only it takes some more time.
This means, E3 TEAM can decrypt all newer games with this B way.
As a matter of a fact, we are planning a newer CFW (no more need to be stuck on v3.55) when we have completed our research.

C way:
Modify Blu-Ray firmware to allow newer games to run on older firmware.
But only a few of the newer games can work with this C way, so we stopped researching this method.

We are in the progress of developing a new USB device, to allow users to enjoy our work with economical cost.
We will release further news and list of its features regarding this new product at a later date.

Finally, to thank all of users whom have supported us in the past with our previous products, like the E3 Card Reader and E3 Flasher, we have decided to release 2 game eboots for free for everyone to enjoy that work directly on any console running CFW v3.55 directly.

PS: Unfortunately the latest Slim 3000x consoles can't work currently with methods mentioned above, as it is fully difference design compared to the older PS3 consoles, but have no fear we are still working hard on solving this Jailbreak puzzle.

Remember our current product, The E3 Flasher is also very useful for Dual-Boot and to downgrade on older consoles, as for now we need to still stay on CFW v3.55.

Below is links to our proof videos to show our work. First we run Ninja Gaiden 3 using the A way and then second we run Splinter Cell Trilogy HD with B way, which no matter how hard you have tried the A way it will never run.

For those users still having problems, make the SPRX file gets overwritten in this directory on your HDD containing the 'Fifa Street' game:

PS3_GAME/USR_DIR/dlc/dlc_FootballCompEng/dlc/FootballCompEng/

Finally, some users might have to 'Rebuild the Database' via the PS3 Recovery Menu, if their PS3 has cached the wrong ver. code from the previously unpatched SPRX file!

The E3 Team are also sorry for all the inconveniences regarding this issue.

tthousand's hint !!! To make these games playable on your 3.41 machines, simply apply the patch, and the edit the PARAM.SFO to say 3.41 instead of 3.55(or whatever).

actually, if they have different keys for example 3.65 and 4.11 it's better to first as proof-of-concept release the 3.65 keys after they reach some minimum limit of donations they set and then raise the donation limit for 4.11 to something higher - that way we will be able to have fully functional CFW, but i doubt they will release the keys - as everyone else they are just greedy.

greedy fks, people decrypt the true blue and they use it for themselves to make money, thats why i hate the ps3 scene so much sometimes, i really miss people like dark alexwho truely made a diffrence to the psp scene back in the day, we need people like that on the ps3 scene but its not going to happen anytime soon, i would rather give money to the industry and buy legit games than waste my time and money with people like this tbh.

well, these guys are claiming to have access to more than what TB is offering. And who knows at what price. Only time will tell if they add more to the PS3 experience besides SOME new games, and then they might be worth looking into.

Firstly I would like to say that I am not bashing anyone just explaining it the way I see it.

It is great news that the team are researching other methods and judging by their previous work it will be excellent if it comes to fruition. My principle concern is that those Eboots released are not exactly the pinnacle of of the latest releases. I believe that they are indeed debug Eboots, lets face it, if you wanted to really grab peoples attention and make people want to buy another DRM dongle, you would release a couple of very new highly sought after games. For that reason, I remain skeptical, until proven wrong and hopefully I will be, not that I would buy the dongle. Whats your take on this people?

well no matter what happens there is no pleasing some people i dont know why anyone bothers anymore they only get slated they have give the average cfw user 2 new eboots to play but yet there getting moaned at probably by the same people that have bought from them in the past but nevermind. i think this is good news im a tb owner but i believe this is going to be the first company to give them a run for their money and with 2 teams working on eboots could bring alot more to the table give them a chance guys and see what they offer.

I agree with what you said, if i was them i would of released the eboot for resistance 3 or something like that, not ones that true blue released weeks ago.

It's a very good news, by the way, they said that TrueBlue method doesn't use the new public keys, so may be it was the same way planed to be used by the JFW team last year ??!!!

Sorry Badboy, I think you missed the point, I wasn't complaining about the quality of the games. I couldn't care less, as I am more interested in Homebrew and dev and less about games. I was merely making an observation, that if you had the ability to decrypt and encrypt any game, why go for games released 4 months ago?

If e3 has the 4.11 keys I bet true blue has them too. Everything going on right now is just crazy so now we have E3 and true blue ruling the Ps3 scene thats just great . After hearing this news the chance of a New jailbreak for free is getting dim. We the ps3 scene are now going to be force to buy more shit for are ps3? come on really? The ps3 scene is dying a very slow death we are letting these people from china take over the ps3 scene. I miss the days of the PSjailbreak when that piece of shit came out everyone in the ps3 scene was working together to crack it. Now its all about money

@joejoe i wasnt directing my comment at you mate i was speaking in general. there are alot of people here just complaining about the dongles but that is obviously the only way at the moment thing is if any of you that had the knowledge to make a dongle or a cfw for all the new games to play what would you
1. make a dongle and make money from it?
2. make a cfw and get nothing for your efforts?
now we all know most people will say option 2 but infact it would be option 1 ill be truthful an say option 1 people like to be rewarded for there efforts and all there getting at the moment is bashing or thats the way it seems anyway

well i call bull plop, of all the games they could patch they patch two trueblue games and say We clarify we did not clone any other product, yeah right more true blue updates incoming if they are not cloners patch games that tb havent fixed, and watch all the hypocrits who said tb drm dongle blah blah, rush and buy a tb clone

nice to see that the sharks of the tb are getting some competitors but sad to see that we are still forced to buy dongles!
