E3 Releases CFW 4.30

This is no surprise. The E3 team has just released custom firmware 4.30. Dubbed E3 CFW 4.30, this custom firmware also includes a backup manager. Reports suggest that it's an old rendition of Deank's multiMAN. As usual I would advise our members to hold off and wait till true scene developers release some information regarding this custom firmware. Call me paranoid if you will but I am curious if this CFW includes any hidden agendas. Also DO NOT install this custom firmware from CFW 3.55 without following the correct procedures.

The E3TEAM has released the latest E3 CFW4.30 for free. The bricking issue has been improved. Just download here and enjoy. (Pass is ' www.e3-tech.net ')

Here we mention to E3 flasher users that you do not need to solder a wire to use the latest upgrade.bin file to unbrick a console.

I found some additional info via ps3news that also mentions a previous announcement from the 26^th of this month that was later removed.

You still need to be on CFW v3.55 or OFW v3.55 to install this new CFW v4.30 from the E3 Team.
It is best if downgrading to follow the normal steps and dehashing like with Rogero just to be sure of no bricks.

It seems to be ok. I installed it without any problems from recovery on 4.21 v1.09. I have a flasher installed and wanted to see what would happen.

We had nothing for almost 2 years, and now CFW's start raining.

It's already christmas folks.

Like stated for the first 4.21, I'd suggest everyone to hold off and wait.
Chances are some bricks will occur, and you don't wanna be a part of it.

Always be aware of brick risk when updating NEW CFW . So install at your own risk if you do not own a hardware flasher. Wait for confimed reports of success.

Well, since it's a new FW, should be possible to upgrade directly from 4.21.

I don't see why we couldn't.

It's a hassle to go back to 3.55 and dehash all the time, even though it's more secure.

I'll lay low for this one and check the feedback. I'm doing just fine on 4.21, gonna use this baby a bit (been waiting it for too long, don't wanna move on already).

I don't feel any need to upgrade to 4.30 at the moment, not planing on playing online anyway.

For the peoples actually stuck on OFW, hang on tight. If you don't update anymore chances are you'll be able to jump on the wagon in the near future.

Now that LV0 is ours, lets start busting doors and taking names.
We deserve this, we've waited a looooong time for this moment.

I think i'll wait. if this still using the old version of MM, then i rather wait til it supported by MM. we should look to deank as he is the original dev of MM rather than someone taking his older work.

Well most of you have forgotten E3's history:

Flasher that will support dual firmware 3.55 CFW and OFW, did that even happen if it did I completely lost interest after 8 months

NAND & NOR flasher NO SOLDERING! Did this happen?

E3 FREE PS3 KEYS ummm

E3 we'll fix a bunch of games, they fixed like 4 games or something, one of which Splinter Cell Trilogy has a broken file and will only work on CFW and won't resign properly (Not DEX mmDM, NOT BDEMU)

A few days ago, E3 CFW link pulled immediately for problems

And here it is again E3 CFW, so i assure you if this every works 100% (it wont) there will be no updates, compatibility with other homebrew etc. If they even are 1/10th as dedicated as Rogero I'll be really f*cking surprised.
