E3 Flasher Release Date - No Dual Boot

News comes to us regarding the much anticipated E3 Flasher. The release of the E3 Flasher Limited version starts today. Unfortunately the dual boot option has to be delayed due to not having a solderless clip but with a future release it will implemented. Also included is a Slim PS3 installation manual linked below.

E3 flasher limited version fixed on NOR FLASH FAT console not so good, you can know some from here ,sure all NOR FLASH console is NO SOLDER include SLIM AND NOR FLASH FAT .

We are regret that we had to cancel some function like dual boot from E3 FLASHER LIMITED version becuase NO solder function added(CLIP). We will develop a new flasher to add those function with few wire solder.

Hi,
I've been researching hardmod chips for a while now, and I've already pre-ordered my E3 Flasher. After hearing this news, I'm a little bit concerned in regards to what features it still contains now that dual-booting has been eliminated. I currently own a PS3 Slim which is fully updated to OFW 3.72 and my goal in ordering this was to be able to downgrade to CFW 3.55. So my question: Even with dual-booting being removed, am I still able to use E3 Flasher to downgrade my system to CFW 3.55? Also, does it require any more steps than what is described in their PDF Installation Manual? (Located at PS3Hax Network Website)

Finally, I have a question in regards to a rumour I read about on YouTube; is it true that E3 Flasher is unable to downgrade any PS3 Slim console which was manufactured with OFW 3.66 running on it?

it can downgrade it back to 3.66 but anything lower probably not

When will the E3 team release the tutorial for dual boot? Well, my E3 Flasher ordered from yoyobase has been shipped, can't wait to get it.

Aw...if this is true, then I have no use for it. So, in that case, if I refund this E3 Flasher and wait for the dual-boot version to be released, will I then be able to dual boot between my original OFW 3.72 and add CFW 3.55 as the other booting option? And if so, will I need to purshase a new Hard Drive altogether?

if your PS3 came from the factory with 3.60 then no you cannot run 3.55 & yes another HDD is required for dual boot on Nor models (Nand models not quite sure as the FW is all on the chip)

Ah no, maybe just 1
