Have all of these 3.55 PSN methods been driving you up the wall? Well, the author of Gaia Manager, Drizzt, has unveiled the easiest method yet. Today, he brings us a small tool titled, ****PSN. The app takes the place of the tools used in previous methods. ****PSN takes the place of Charles proxy and MaraDNS.

Prerequisites:
--------------

* CA24.cer, dev_blind.pkg, ****Psn.exe from http://gaia.psfree.net/****Psn/, ARSoft.Tools.Net.dll from http://gaia.psfree.net/****Psn/PS3DNS/
* OpenPS3FTP v1.2 from http://www.multiupload.com/Z93APIOFJD
* Microsoft .NET 3.5

Installation:
-------------

1. Install dev_blind.pkg OpenPS3FTP and PS3 if you have not already
2. Dev_blind run and create the mount point for the flash
3. Then run OpenPS3FTP
4. Log on your PS3 via FTP (username: root and password: openbox)
5. Go to / dev_blind / data / cert
6. Rename CA24.cer in CA24.cer.bak
7. Install CA24.cer in the archive in / dev_blind/data/cert/CA24.cer
8. Then configure the primary DNS server on your PS3 by indicating the IP address of your PC
9. Configure the secondary DNS server on your PS3 by indicating the IP address of your PC
10. Reboot your PS3
11. Start ****Psn-v0.5.exe
12. Enjoy the PSN

There has to be a better way to pass around delicate information instead of just posting it on these website cause we are in a way making it easier for sony to patch it. there has to be a way lol

got everything but my nub-ness is showing
9. Set the PS3's SECONDARY DNS server to your actual DNS server (e.g. router)
idk what to set the secondary as...router? probally something simple but going right over my head

Can any1 help me ive been trying alot of different methods on psx-scene but for the love of me i cannot figure out how to get ps3dns.exe to run on windows 7 64bit. When it asks for my pc's ip address and i hit y i get an error saying the program cannot run blah blah blah. I have microsoft.net framework 3.5.1 which i believe is the latest version how would i uninstall and revert to just 3.5? I also have the ar blah blah blah.dll file in the same folder as ps3dns.exe........ and i still cannot get it to run. + when i run ****psn i see a bunch of stuff come on command prompt and windows is constantly asking me if i want to allow it through win firewall in which i allow but then the program just shutsoff......????????:o

okay so ive been waiting for a easy way online.

im new to this there is 1 thing i dont understand "Launch dev_blind and make it mount the flash"

how do i make it mount the flash can someone PLEASE tell me???????

I believe it means set it to a real DNS server, such as 8.8.8.8 or your ISP's

certificate is different to a few other guides. make sure u replace existing.

and i know drizzt didnt write it , but mount with dev_blind and use multimans filemanager (select + start) to replace certificate without using ftp.

and to download the certificate. right click and select save as (surely thats REALLY EASY to figure out)

Awesome! Glad to see everyone helping eachother out with this.
Hope this works for me.

edit: :/ the ftp server gives me an error, I try to open the dev_blind and it says I don't have permission or something.
edit2: comgenie works just fine though, thanks Ken Zul.

no you can look it bei cmd: typing ipconfig in cmd

then look at standartgateway there is the second dns
