Neur0n recently divulged a user mode exploit for the PS Vita. Today news over at Wololo brings to light
yet another game that is exploitable, available on all stores and is almost ready for
VHBL on the Vita. Wololo was roadblocked as he could only get 2MB RAM available while running VHBL but needed more than ten times that in order for homebrew to run. Luckily for him the talented Neur0n stepped in, did the impossible and cleared an additional 22MB that Wololo required. Wololo still needs to test this on a PS Vita and is confident it should work. After that the usual tests would have to be performed with various homebrews and states the game release will coincide with Neur0n's.
About VHBL Progress:
Neur0n has been kind enough to share with me the details of his latest user mode exploit, so that I could help porting VHBL to his game on the EU and US versions (yes, the game seems to be available on all stores, and don’t stop reading here, it gets better).
There’s still lots of work to be done: confirm it works on the vita (which should not be a problem since neur0n already confirmed it on the Japanese version), code cleanup, homebrews tests and bug fixes, port to the US version of the game, ….
