Cobra USB Update

The team over at Cobra USB have updated Cobra USB Firmware to v4.4, the Cobra USB PSP Launcher to v2.0 and their mmCM (multiMAN Cobra Manager) to version 03.01.02. Slowly the mmCM's functionality is improving for those using the dongle.

Update of Cobra USB firmware, Cobra PSP Launcher and mmCM focused on improving the compatibility of the psp emulator.

Changelog of Cobra USB 4.4 and Cobra PSP Launcher 2.0:

- Added specific support for the following 15 psp games that either crashed or had critical gameplay issues:

BLAZBLUE CONTINUUM SHIFT II
DJMAX PORTABLE 3
EXIT
Fate/EXTRA
LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean The Video Game
LUNAR: SILVER STAR HARMONY
Resistance: Retribution
SMT: Persona 2: Innocent Sin
SOULCALIBUR: Broken Destiny
STAR OCEAN: First Departure
TEKKEN 6 (fixed random crashes)
The 3rd Birthday ((if you see a black screen at beginning, press buttons, it will work after that)

Z.H.P.: Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman

- Added support to load prometheus patched psp isos.

- Added an option for psp emulation. You can set it per game in multiman using "Game settings". You can choose between auto, mode 1 and mode 2.
By default, all games are set to auto, what causes mmCM to choose the apropiated setting from a database, but you can set the option manually.
Mode 1 and Mode 2 have different compatibility, some games that work in one of them won't work in the other one. Mode 2 is usually more compatible.

Changelog of mmCM 03.01.02:

Added support for three different modes to load PSP ISO files (Auto, Mode 1, Mode 2): "Game Settings" in XMMB/XBDM SIDE menu
Added support for lastGAME application - it will load the last game you played, without entering mmCM
lastGAME: Application which loads the last played PS1/PS2/PS3/PSP game (folder and ISO format) (separate application)
bdRESET : Application which resets all redirections and unmounts loaded ISO images (separate application)
Note: When you use "Last Played Game" application you will have to launch the PS1/PS2/PS3 game from the disc icon and the PSP game from the "PSP Launcher" icon

Hey guys I do have one question am on the process of downgrading a PS3 60GB CECHA01 Model from 3.60 back to 3.55.
Am I able to use my Cobra USB on it ?
I've heard that Cobra team needs to make a patch FW for the downgraded consoles? 0_o
What do you know/think about this ?

hi guys just to let you know i updated my dongle to 4.4 and it doesnt work my ps3 gets stuck just after coldboot and no xmb icons appear all i see is the wave however when i reflash to 4.3 it works again i am in talks right now to see if they will take a look at this issue

I think people would be happy with free alternatives or at least all features on a single dongle.

The only way I see Cobra adding TB patch support is if devs find a way to use them on CFW without their dongle. At that point, Cobra will simply copy the free alternative the public uses.

i got everything working now it was a problem with the cfw since cobra have altered some modules my previous cfw didnt work

Second, This web-Site is the Best of all my searches about News

Third, I am Confused about the Cobra USB and True Blue Dongle and have a few Question.

I have the True Blue Dongle and i Installed it how it does and its working good also thanks to Rebug 1Team that i found the CFW TB 3.55 Rebug, Tomorrom i will Recive my Cobra USB.

1: Is it Possible when i Start my PS3 with the True Blue Dongle and then a way to Start the Cobra USB, or both same time? because my Plan is to Start the PS2 and over 4 gb games from the HDD extern and the new one too

2. Is it now Possible that Cobra USB can Launch the new games, i mean the Eboots TB?

i hope you can help me with these question
