Cobra-USB Files Update: PIC port Released! Payload.bin Released!

It could be time to start compiling hexes again for all of your dust-collecting dongles. In recent news, the Cobra-USB files have been DUMPED by Jaicrab, and then having the TRAFFIC SCANNED by Hansi.
After that, PS3News reported an0nym0us had released the payload .bin via pastie (Private Paste - Pastie).
Now, PSX-SCENE member Noltari has an open source PIC port of Corba-USB, that is supposed to be working.

Remember that according to Cobra you must be on 3.41 official and you mustn't remove the dongle.

Why is everybody saying this is working when it doesnt. I tested it as soon as i saw it. Unless there is somebody else who can confirm it working nobody listen because it doesnt.

If I have CFW 3.55Kmeaw, why do I care about this?

I really don't understand what powerful features the Cobra Dongle brings to the table?

Try to do some research then. You can even see the features on the home page of the cobra usb website.

Some news, this is better

It means we are going places with BC on ps1 backups, which is GOOD news since the ps3 doesn't support multi region on ps1 and ps2 titles. Thats my opinion

It looks like the problem could be with the COBRA-USB Files, and they do not want to work together. Perhaps due to some sort of checks.

I have 5 ps3's and tried this on 3 of them all fats one 60gb original one 80 gb fat and one 40gb fat with the e3card reader. The payload for home brew works but the cobra usb manager errors with 80010007 the cobra website says that the is multiple layers of encryption i would guess that that would be the issue

from what I saw people were saying the cobra manager was erroring out, so looks like there's still more work that needs to be done first.

Only the PS2 ISO's need backward compatible (80GB FAT) PS3s. PS1 ISO from HDD works w/ COBRA on all PS3's.

Correction PS1 multi-regional backup support on all consoles whether they are BC or not (PS2 support on 80GB BCs only), Stalin if you're going to answer a question maybe YOU should get your facts straight first!!!
