I think it should still be in beta. I know the 4.30 OFW doesn't support ps2 games but with the devs they have I don't see why they can make a Firmware selector of some sort where you can add Corbras CFW to the system and pick which one you want to boot into, they have the talent. I know they are probably going to be focusing on ODE but I want to see something other than just Movie ISOs and PSP compatibility (and i use that term very loosely).

glad to see updated as love the psp games. i updated and got everything working, then saw that new version of MM was released with better psp support. so i downloaded it and cobra stopped working,
i turn on the ps3 and cobra boots up light turns green like its meant to and as soon as i load mm light goes off games show up but can't start any of them.
so i went back to mm 4.06.02 and games works again.
i redownloaded the new update mmCM v4.18.04 BASE and did same thing games show up but can't start them as X button does nothing and if try to load through options screen with start button just takes me to mm main screen

anyone have a idea how to fix this??

id love to use it, but first stealthman would have to work with it. in old cobra firmware it wouldnt boot stealthman.

also, you can just plug a psp into the pc, set it to overclock, and use a dualshock 3 with a bluetooth dongle as the controller on pc to play in full screen on the hdtv. so i would rather do that. (needs a few game plugins and to boot with driver verification disable, but if you want psp on tv its the best way to do it imo)

my cobras done for, got two ps2s, a psone, two psps, im sure i can just use the ps3 for only ps3 stuff now. hell i dont even mind buying dlc if its worth it. just hope the devs keep on top of this psn thing. playing dark souls with my friend is nice.

only advantage the cobra really gave me, or could provide me with now, since i have all the other systems, was everything working discless.

also, since i have no ps2 in my ps3, it doesnt really matter now that the ps1 iso launcher is out. seems like those guys even figured out multidiscing.

This CFW is flat out broken. I seen the bugs (psp games dont save, Ps3 games dont load) but the biggest problem is I CANT DOWNGRADE WTF??!!

is your PS3 QA Flagged, have you tried installing Rogero 4.30, then downgrade

@bitsbubba. It is possible to downgrade. Try to install rogero or rebug when you are on cobra cfw 4.30 and then donwgrade back to 3.55. It is very easy. i had no problems.

I think this firmware of cobra is a bit rushed to me. I have found much things in it that are not good yet.

But that doesnt mean i am not thankfull to the cobra team who keep the dongle alive. Not like those damn true blue *******.

I updated to rogero was able to get back thank god. I did love my cobra when on 3.55 but till these flaws are ironed out Im not touching this again. Something also that is really funny when I first updated i didnt have the cobra inserted when it restarted after the update all my PSN stuff still worked when I turned it off then put the cobra in all my PSN stuff stopped working they give me errors when starting. So that tells me if I were able to use reactPSN and got everything working again if I turn off the ps3 and turn it back on everything would stop working again. I don't know I would like to meet these BETA testers if there was any.

@ mayid25; thanks for the information it's much appreciated

Also another question for anybody, does v6.0 still work with CFW 3.55 or do you have to downgrade dongle back to v5.0

I've heard strange rumors about models with backward compatibility and 4.xx OFW, some users say - with 4.xx even first japan backw. cmpt. model will not run any ps2 backups no more (due ps2classic released, sony have disable any compatibility to usual ps2 games on all models, but I doubt the veracity of this statement), is it true or not?

That seems like it would cause quite a shit storm instead of just rumors.

So no PSN games? Any one try online? Damn I really do na wanna lose the PSN games I ave. Also I play online everyday. I want it all, dat too much to ask? Playin all I ave becomes a pain when I must switch firmwares(not to mention gowan back to 3.55 every time).
I wish R* would release every GTA on PSN game like III, San Andreas, and upcoimn Vice City on HDD(Jan 29). Then I would ave no use for Cobra.
Sorry for rantin ...but I am na feelin well and it all really becomes a pain switchin fw's like dat.

I can report, and as always YMMV, that I have had zero issued with my CECHA01 model PS3. My stuttering experienced in Marvel Alliance (old game, but a favorite) was stuttering because of a poor overall performance from the HDD and not the firmware's fault. Tried several newer titles that required 4.30 or higher to launch and they all did. I haven't run into a reason to downgrade yet since all of my PS2 backups and PS3 games are working. Can't speak to PSP games since I don't have any, but this was a great update by Cobra for me. Not perfect though, the controller sync issue exists on my system. Small price to pay for great compatibility, BD backups, PS1/2 backups, and MMCM while still being able to play the newest titles.
