    News comes that the PlayStation Plus update will bring official firmware version 4.25. Although this will not effect the recent PSN access for custom firmware users be sure to keep unwanted quests, friends and mindless children away from you beloved console.


    About :
    At this year’s Gamescom press conference, we announced that Online Game Save Storage will be upgraded to 1GB for PlayStation Plus members, and I’m happy to report that the increase will be available soon with PS3 system software update (v4.25)!

    After you’ve installed the update, simply go to the Saved Data Utility under the Game column of the XMB. From there you can access the Online Storage folder and find any existing game saves already uploaded, as well as the increase in space to 1GB. So set your automatic download to upload every game save for every compatible game you play and enjoy the additional breathing room. You can also continue to use this feature to selectively upload game saves you specify.

      Yeah yoohoo i guess it has to do something with the recent PSN access on CFW users. Although Sony will keep saying the same bullshit like "Safety & Stability shit"...

      I have such thoughts:
      Ok we all using 3.55, and it all ok for us, but what to do if person buys new ps3 and can not downgrade to 3.55--because no-one knows how to do it?
      also E3 does not know yet how to downgrade new consoles...
      So looks like we locked us to 3.55....
      And it does not bring new users to scene because with new consoles they can not enjoy what we are enjoying.
      People think that it is good to stay on 3.55, but hey guys, early or lately---hackers will have to hack new firmwares----because to stay always on 3.55 is way to no-where....

      It does effect cfw users as the update is mandatory! So you can't sign in.

      well you can use the 1gb storage just fine even if you havent update yet your PS3 into latest firmware, I got PS3 4.21 for legit purpose, just spoof the update-list.txt with false one so I can still login to PSN, and yeah it works, probably for a week, and of course im a plus user, i can now upload 1gb saves, have used 500mb+ already all of this possible without updating yet to latest OFW.

      so yeah, the OFW update is just a piece of shit without a real enhancement.

      It's live here in Aus, my OFW console forced me to update when accessing PS Store but my CFW one can still login with F***PSN, haven't tried multiplayer yet though

      anyways, F*ckPSN is still working for me. Official PS3 not updated yet to 4.25 but my other PS3 is rocking MFW 3.55 R2 CO-OP
