    AerialX, author of PS3Load, released SCEkrit today, an app for calculating Sony's private keys. The app, which is based on fail0verflow's sceverify, is useful for anyone looking to sign their own homebrew SELF's. With the private keys now easily accessible, expect the floodgates to open even further on the PS3 scene.

      Sorry I'm new here and this question will sound dumb.

      Does this mean that I can sign my DLC package and use it on my 3.41 machine? I bought some DLC but later found that it will only work on my 3.55 machine and not my 3.41.

      that question is quite interesting actually, so far i didn't read anywhere anyone talking
      about DLCs, however in theory particularly anything should be 'signed' as far as i read...
      but i guess u just have to have some patience and things will become more clear for you and all of us... so no worries bro =]

      no im afraid ur mistaken, @ this point there is no hack for 3.55 nor 3.50 for that matter,
      maybe in the near future something will show up, but for now it's a No No , sadly ofc =]

      Hi mate, thanks 4 the response. I am new to all this!! You know earlier you mentioned about open manager and being able to play GT5. What did you mean??

      well ya basically if u own a copy of the game and u have it backed up using open manager,
      all u have to do is patch it up using the proper file which is laying around the net (Eboot.bin) , and then u will be able to run it normally using the normal method...

      someone correct me if I'm wrong....having the keys should render jailbreak obsolete......we now have the ability to sign our own apps and run cfw....so, 3.55 is a non-issue

      Im new to this but really confussed now!

      what i want to be able to do is save games to my hard drive and be able to play them....from looking at videos on you tube, people where able to do this before using a USB device. From my understanding the 3.55 update stopped you from doing this. Correct me if am wrong!!

      If u can do what i want to do someone please tell me hw....but in simple terms????

      if you're on 3.55 you can't do anything atm...give it time bud

      kami sama u r the 1st one who answer me in ps groove i love u man now i will ask u all my questions (1st) when i open resident evil 5 by open manager it tells me eboot.bin file not found idont know y? and how to make it work (2nd) while i play uncharted 2 it always stops and i must restart the system to play the game again is there is a way to make it work perfectly

      because it is signed it is linked to your psn id and you must have your account activated on your 3.41 by going to account management. but unfortunately you can't go online with your 3.41 to activate that console. i downloaded a few games from my account via ps3proxyserver and had the same issue. Only way I see it working is if you decrypt the DLC
