Advanced Mode Patch For Rebug CFW

All those running Rebug CFW and all those who will switch to it after hearing this news, some unknown authors have released an advanced mode patch for it. It unlocks another Debug menu similar to the QA Flag but with no token and button combo guessing.

How to get it working?
1.)You will need to download from Codename: Rebug their official untouched custom firmware for v3.55.1.
2.)Download this patch and apply it to get you a new "PS3 Advanced Mode CFW PUP" file that you then flash to your console.

As a reminder, when working with flash, be very careful on what you do. If you do not know what you are doing, it is best to not do it at all.

First, I don’t recommend you suddenly jumping into the hot frying pan and start downloading and flashing your PS3 console unless you are already totally familar with flashing custom firmwares, and know what to do if something goes wrong!

Second, just because they say (hint hint) in regard to just after them saying it has dev_blind in it, does not mean it can in-fact go online correctly with the PSN network with all the features of the latest stock retail firmware, but it just might as it was not something I was willing to test.

Finally, I did test the Black Screen Fix and it did in-fact run some games (like Uncharted 2), that I was originally having problems running after updating my PS3 to the official Codename: REBUG firmware, and the advance mode menu looks neat, I just wish I had the time to write an in-depth review after trying out all the various options.

I use the rebug 3.55.1, ps3 slim, did everything correctly, but I got the red screen of death ¬¬'

meh I dont really see the point of this... Cept maybe if you want to downgrade and go back to dongle... And I cant see why anyone would wanna do that? :P

im going to pass on this for now. maybe when everybody is done tinkering with it and sees if there is any real value here i might consider switching over to rebug, but so far kmeaw works great, and if it isnt broke then its not worth fixing.

is this black screen problem exclusive to rebug? because i have yet to come across it. UC2 works fine for me (although the game screen in multiman seems to be messed up. has anybody else had that problem?)

Is this stating that on kmeaw etc... UC2 gets a black screen and cant be played and that on this rebug UC2 "can" be played? I dont understand what the benefits are with this rebug. Im really not being condescending im really just asking..?

Well I will be damed, the day after I switch from Wutangerza to kmeaw something BIG would come out on another CFW, now I have to sit and watch to see what comes of this, As of right now i don't think Rebug has anything special to offer....yet (F^$k da PSN)

Hello,i install it in my ps3 but do not see any new menu in this patch.just gives me dns error 80710101.

huh but I have some new features but I know only of minor stuff for now like setting the function of the "O" button since I didn't have time to check thoroughly

Don't update to this. It doesn't seem to do anything that Rebug doesn't do already and you can't install another cfw afterwards because it spoofs improperly.

it fixes the black screen games like Uncharted 2 and motorstorm.and what do you mean cant go back?no going back to OFW and then CFW ??

guys stop creating rebugs we need a new jailbreak the gamers that are in 3.65 come on i have a question if i buy a 80 gb ps3 with a 3.15 lower version can i update it to 3.55 instead of 3.65
