PS3 Channels Creator 2.0 Released - Now in English

Earlier this week, we reported on PS3 Channels Creator, which is being developed by Xesc. The app generates an XML file, which allows you to make "shortcuts" on the XMB to various TV channels or Websites. Today, the author brings us the second incarnation of the app, which has several new features. Previously the app only supported the Spanish language. However, PS3 Channels Creator 2.0 gives us the option to be displayed in English, Catalonian, or Spanish. In addition to the increased languages, the new version now works in all regions.

I bring you the second version of PS3 Channels Creator 2.0 homebrew application today.

PCC is a windows program used to create lists of channels for our PS3. These channels are like shortcuts to Web sites, you do not need to be web video.

NEWS:

* Now you can choose the icons you want (even add icons added)
* Works in all regions
* You can choose the name of the folder containing the xil.xml (Not all consoles have the same name)
* Different languages (English, Spanish and Catalonian)
* You can choose the order of channels
* All times are displayed in the channel list

As the big news about the first version is that you can change the icons of presentation. The icons have to take some measures and be 320x176 PNG. You can also use icons from other icons packs. Icons do not need to be hosted on external servers are stored on your PS3.

The first menu you can choose the name of the folder that contains the XIL.XML. To find out you only have to look (for ftp or file manager) the name of the folder that is located in "/ dev_hdd0/tmp/explore/xil/tv/ctmp /". With this program you ride perfect for all folders that you just have to upload the folder xil.

Ok Speaking on behalf of people that do not know..(Like me)..when did the PS3 get a "TV" Icon on the XMB?, or is this one of the benfits on Kmeaw, or Wanikoko

What sucks is justin.tv don't work in the ps3 web browser All because the browser is outdated / flash or whatever.

I believe it's only on European / Asian PS3s.
i have a north american PS3 and i don't have it.

I guess the real question is how would you use something like this for a US console? We don't have any kind of TV player for the PS3 in the US.

Your Virus Security sucks

Let me guess Norton 360? if so then Norton is a Virus itself and Microsoft are going down for putting that crap on peoples computers

Kesperskey also sucks dam crap eats up the processor time AND ram AND gives false information like Norton AND wont delete the virus but will store it until you have to upgrade your subscription then it will release it back on your computer untill you pay again this is why Norton sucks

But this is trojan free your virus security dont like it because it may make changes to your computer to do what it has to do
