PS3 Game Updater 1.3 - Major Update

Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and have run into a snag with this.

Program ran fine, but when I told it to check for updates, it hung for some time and eventually crashed (the program not the OS). Was a dot.net error (but didn't write it down sorry). I'm running completely updated with the latest... Don't know.

Will try rebooting tomorrow and see if I can get it to run cleanly, as someone else has already claimed success with a similar configuration.

Hope I can get this to go for me, as it's a sweet program.

I did notice that depending on the amount of games in the directory you choose, the application may APPEAR to hang. Just leave it be for a few minutes and come back to it and I bet it will be fine. Definately allow for more time creating the game list if your games are stored over a mapped network drive like mine.

Again, the app does infact appear to be working perfectly fine here. I am fully updated like you say you are. The only difference may be that I also do the "OPTIONAL" updates on all of my computers, with exception to the "Windows Search 4.0". What a pile that is.

How do you know if it works or not because everytime i update a game with the .pkg it doesnt work and when i load up my games with the update manager it show the game hasn't been updated.

So when i use FileZilla i have no problem getting into the PS3 but when using this i can't seem to get it to work. i go to "import from" chose PS3 then fill out my info just like fileZilla but then path i'm using /dev_hdd0/GAMES cuz i'm using multiMan as my game manager... and that's not an option with this software.... what am i missing?

I explain how to add more paths in my changelog. Add the settings.ini file and look at FTPLocation parameter. add more directories as you please with a "," seperating them

yes it did, but 1.3 download all of the game updates, and not just the latest. as I've understood, updates are not cumulative, and you need to update all by order.

Saying "it doesn't work" simply don't cut it.

Ok, so I see that the update is downloaded. Do I just install them like any other package via USB, or what?

hmmm it's crashing a lot. Generally does not work at all. During dir scan and ftp update checks. Seems you're using native English formats which does not apply to my native lang (which is not English ).

Hello trueicecold, i had no problems at all with 1.02 nice prog so far , but 1.3 didn't load @ winxpsp3 crashes asap "an error has occured...", i've tested with old and new ExpandbleGriView.dll, doesn't fix the problem either.

yeah i know what you mean ive been building and repairing pc's since i was about 12 im 25 now, my pc is fully updated and is perfectly setup to compile source code and ive got or tried pretty much every operating system going i even have a original ubuntu 10.04 disc im just gonna download it again see what happens if it still doesn't work i'll re-install net framework see what happens.

on another matter anyone know how to make a app to backup your trophies since the 3.56 update came out i cant sync my trophies an app to backup them would be brilliant thanks.

I have the same game, same version, and it found 1.01 update on version 1.3 of the app... 315MB size
