  • 5 True Blue Patches Released by Team Paradox

Team Paradox is at it again with another five EBOOT patches for those using the True Blue dongle.

That site was this one. He still might cuz he was looking for Final Fantasy XIII-2. All good things come to those who wait. There's actually a couple good games in this release cycle for those with the dongle

@BahumatLord I was sure it was this site to but I literally look at a minimum of 60 sites a day looking for news worthy articles. Not to mention how late it was in the morning when I read that comment. OT: I have to agree that this "release" has a few good titles.

@Tranced - I'm a member of several sites, but only active on this one. I remember the conversation.
@FRESHCOOK - Gotta admit, I'm starting to get tempted to get one of these TrueBlues. FFXIII-2 or Arkham City would be the clencher for me

These are not "released" They are only a dumb "list" that mean nothing. When I see them downloadable then I will believe it. And ya they release/add these that just came out to the "list" but FFXIII-2 came out before them...tell me how that makes sense?

why no download links!!! Patches are not piracy! somepeople buy their games and then rip and patch them so please PSXSCENE take another look at your policies...

they are released. they are available. FFXIII-2 has NOT been patched. There are no download links because it is piracy to patch games that are not meant to be played if you don't abide by Sony's terms/licensing agreement. You guys can always find a complete list of patched true blue games on their website and it even has a search function so there would not be a need to post links here. And here's a good hint about it being piracy - they won't even provide downloads, so what does that tell you? Feel free to stop me anytime, I'm on a roll

Man this is AWESOME! Honestly I never'd have thought that SCV would be patched this soon, gotta go to the gamestore NOW - all I'm still longing for is some Ace Combat, it's been gathering dust for a while, but I'm really considering donating to these guys (is it even possible?)

@nativesith - I can hear the Carl Douglas/Biddu song now.
@Godoakos - Sure you can donate to them. I'll send you my address and you can buy a dongle for me. That's like donating right?

Unless you live somewhere like China then yes, patches are piracy. They contain copyrighted code from sony and the programmers that you do not have the right to change and re-release, no matter if you brought the game or not. You might wish it wasn't classed as piracy but that doesn't make it so. The only way it could possibly be classed as allowed under UK or US law is if you buy the game and patch it yourself, but the second you pass that file or files on to someone else you are breaking copyright law.

Thanks to Paradox, Duplex, TrueBlue, and others that have helped me play the newer games without updating, no matter whether they're blockbusters or B-grade games. I'm appreciative of all the work, time, and efforts that these people give.

This is good and all but where is Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Batman? Why not release those games yet I mean COME ON!

I know that they do extensive testing before releasing any patches. That's why you see so few updated patches. And with Batman + FFXIII-2 being as popular as they are there is no room for error. If they screw either of those games up it will piss off a lot of people and will hurt their business. They will not be missed either by them, or by Duplex or one of the other release groups. Can't release something that doesn't work 100% yet. Anybody remember the early Uncharted 3 or Sonic Generations patches? We don't need any more of that. I'd rather wait till it's done right

or you could buy an E3 and update to play the originals then downgrade again. Nothing is stopping you from updating and buying the occassional original

buying an original yeah sometimes it is tempting but not for
those who live in EU and have to pay over 70 euros for a game
and beside the long rpg games all the rest are gonna be done
in few days so imagine if you are a full time gamer have to spend
thousands of $$ on games...so for me is piracy all the way even
if the sopa/pipa trying to ruin that...lost 5TB of games from MU...
