After the release of official firmware 4.25, dantezteam, who brought the recent PSN/SEN access for custom firmware users to my attention, has tweeted SEN Enabler/Disabler 4.25 created by TeamSGK. Here is a Q & A from the source.

About SEN Enabler/Disabler 4.25:

Q:*Is this tool safe?
A:*Yes. it is, this have a restore process if something goes wrong for prevent RSOD

Q:*It works with all CFW?
A:*Nop, only with CFW 3.55 and 3.56 (PKG precompiled and fixed)

Q:*It works on OFW?
A:*Nop, only for CFW

Q:*I have RSOD/Black Screen, how can i solve it?
A:*Reinstall your CFW in Recovery Mode

Q:*Fix is already complete but I have an error while log in SEN
A:*Go to Recovery Mode and choose*Restore Default Settings, Rebuild Database*andRestore File System. In some cases you need to change your login password

Q:*It works with DRM dongles?
A:*Yes, but you need to have dongle update 2.51 and not 2.70

Q:*I have CFW Rebug but when PS3 starts shows Black Screen
A:*Make sure you don´t have any spoof and Rebug Mode in Normal before installing, to fix Reinstall CFW from Recovery Menu

Please note that caution should be taken when messing with you PS3 internal files. Don't come to me with tears in your eyes.

**IMPORTANT**
This doesn't work. It contains the wrong passphrase to get on PSN. The only thing it does is spoof to 4.25

ok kids this is just a spoof this will not get you on line at all if yo wont to get on line with psn you need f**kpsn. plz read all tuts on this and report bk to help others tnx

I totally agree since it has absolutely nothing to do with enabling SEN/PSN. That's done entirely through f*ckPSN. This is just a spoofer. But since it's not an article I posted I don't plan on editing it any further than saying that it doesn't work. If people can't read that in the title I don't know what else to tell them

is there any way to use this to get PSN access (like skip a couple steps in the other thread) or is this completely 100% useless and even haarmful? without a need to reinstall?

i'm not too secure reinstalling the firmware--is there a guide around? since i am on kmeaw 3.55, would i have to do 3.55 OFW and the 3.55 cfw kmeaw?
and is this like a reformat--as in i will lose a ton of my stuff?

Im in PSN on DEX, nice )))

But not only debug functions r gone, also Multiman cannot redirect anything 2 app-home....
Install packages is still there, so is app-home, but multiman blackscreens on exiting while game or pkg loading...

Perhaps the lv2 patcher?

Im on DEX rogero v2 +fckpsn + sgk 4.25 (so without debug functions anymore)
Perhaps another FW like itsKamel then sgk???

not working with TB dongle 2.51, already told to f**king ps3hax gregory's twitter, then he banned me, for one reason, too many asking for sleeping dogs eboot.

hmmmmmm, cant even get it to work with f**kpsn though there is a distinct possibility I'm doing something wrong...

spoofer (as in this) seems to have spoofed correctly to 4.25 for me though still saying to update before I can access psn (even just trying to sync trophies)

replaced the cer27 via dev blind in multiman, changed network settings to my pc's address, installed this spoof (then replaced the cer27 file again just in case I needed to, lol), ran f**kpsn, started ps3......

EDIT: balls! also just turned off windows firewall - heard elsewhere that can sometimes be the problem and now I get the ps3 startup noise but a black screen...... even worse !!!!!

EDIT 2: ok, now no noise at all (other than the beep) and nothing but a black screen!

EDIT 3: Realised that the 'no sound' issue was due to me trying to change the video resolution thinking it would fix the black screen when in actual fact it was the tv playing funny buggers, ha
