After the release of official firmware 4.25, dantezteam, who brought the recent PSN/SEN access for custom firmware users to my attention, has tweeted SEN Enabler/Disabler 4.25 created by TeamSGK. Here is a Q & A from the source.

About SEN Enabler/Disabler 4.25:

Q:*Is this tool safe?
A:*Yes. it is, this have a restore process if something goes wrong for prevent RSOD

Q:*It works with all CFW?
A:*Nop, only with CFW 3.55 and 3.56 (PKG precompiled and fixed)

Q:*It works on OFW?
A:*Nop, only for CFW

Q:*I have RSOD/Black Screen, how can i solve it?
A:*Reinstall your CFW in Recovery Mode

Q:*Fix is already complete but I have an error while log in SEN
A:*Go to Recovery Mode and choose*Restore Default Settings, Rebuild Database*andRestore File System. In some cases you need to change your login password

Q:*It works with DRM dongles?
A:*Yes, but you need to have dongle update 2.51 and not 2.70

Q:*I have CFW Rebug but when PS3 starts shows Black Screen
A:*Make sure you don´t have any spoof and Rebug Mode in Normal before installing, to fix Reinstall CFW from Recovery Menu

Please note that caution should be taken when messing with you PS3 internal files. Don't come to me with tears in your eyes.

**IMPORTANT**
This doesn't work. It contains the wrong passphrase to get on PSN. The only thing it does is spoof to 4.25

nevermind - you want something done you gotta do it yourself

I read a comment earlier that it worked with F*ckPSN - of course it did because F*ckPSN already has the right passphrase

I fixed the passphrase and it still doesn't work - the only thing it's doing for me is spoofing to 4.25. I haven't checked ReActPSN but I've read that it doesn't work with this. I get 8002A212 error message and prompted to update

So has anybody gotten this to work at all and if so I would appreciate a fixed vsh.self file

Just fixing the passphrase won't make this any more useful for connecting to psn. With regards to reactpsn, I checked the elf in the original folder and it is straight from the kmeaw pup, so no.

Yes sorry I tested at lunch (only had 15min) but b4 I added it I tried using fkpsn and couldn't get on. And still cant get on with anything... Cobra 3.55 mmcm 4.05.00 any help would be awesome was online for 15 min and I would like to reactivate my console and get my games I paid for on my old console but don't have on this one.. Plz

my **** psn dont work it just sits there and my ip config only flashes up for like a split second any ideas?? i got my ip adress off google and typed it again as secondary dns??????????????????????

yes thanks psx scene i can confirm this works with fck psn and was just wondering iv modded gta and im online now what are the chances of getting banned lol???

Extremely high. You should never play a modded game online. Don't be a dick - it gives you an unfair advantage

so if this doesnt work and i already ran it, did it screw up my internal ps3 files? what do i need to do to revert the changes?

Best thing to do is reinstall your firmware. I got a red screen of death trying to uninstall it but reinstalling firmware is safe

you should be fine as long as you don't play modded games online
