Here is a tool that will be very handy for anyone making the jump from 3.55 CFW to 4.21 CFW. This is a script for SCEtool by Chinese developer Rain fish (aka JjKkYu) which allows the resigning of 3.55 or decrypted EBOOT.BIN files for use with 4.21 CFW.

This is a script of sectool to resign the 3.55- or decrypted EBOOT.BIN for 4.21CFW use.

Tutorial:
1. Extract the 4.21 EBOOT Resigner.zip.
2. Put EBOOT.BIN into the extracted folder.
3. Run resigner.bat to resign EBOOT, you may need to choose encrypt type.
4. If you chose NPDRM type, you need to enter Content-ID.
5. The original EBOOT.BIN will be renamed to EBOOT.BIN.BAK.

This script is tested on BD4.21 CFW, and it should work on Rogero 4.21.
Some game also contains decrypted self or sprx file, you need to resign them manually.

nice, though i would like one the other way round
so i can play 4.21 games on kmeaw

dont trust this rogero cfw yet, waiting for a safer release
tempting though, dishonored / doom3 / borderland 2 / resi 6 all playable on 4.21 cfw

not sure about the new medal of honor, it requires 4.21 and has just been released on the scene

seconded. it'll probably be pretty soon though i bet when a stable release is made. when these devs have the tools, they're pretty good at what they do.

i have a problem witch resigner. PSNrip games like resident evil Code Veronica HD doesnt work. (even reinstalled) got error (80010017) when i'm resign eboot got error (80029530). Any suggestion ?

I was wondering the same thing. I thought the whole idea with CFW 4.21 was to be able to play games as they were. Why resign eboots from 3.55 to play on 4.21? Makes little sense to me. Would make a lot more sense if it was the other way around, signing 4.21 games to be played on CFW 3.55.

Ok my uneducated guess. This tool is useful for people that made eboot to be played on 3.55 and now the game doesn't work on 4.21, this remedy to the problem. You don't have to redownload for the correct eboot, you just need to use this tool.

I dont think everyone understands that 3.55 is old news now. Its 4.21cfw time to rule. Now everyone is focusing on 4.21 so this tool takes our 3.55 patched eboots and signs them back to the way they were. But im also waiting for v2 to come out i dont want to brick my never yold cecha01

Hi,

EDIT : I figured it out. In fact you have to use "NPDRM" option instead of "Disk Backup"... Works perfectly if you manage to grab the content-id of your PSN game.

I play my PSN GAMES on CFW 4.21 Rogero. I buy it loooong time ago. But it works. Joe Danger, Tanks Hustle Kings,Froger and others...

Or he could of downloaded them when he had no PSN access, and he had to format his hard drive or got a new one etc.

If that was the case he could just sign in and everything would work. But you just said "downloaded them when he had no PSN access" well that would mean illegaly download right?

You have a point but no to the second one. If you legally own it, then downloading it from a torrent isn't actually illegal.

I can confirm that all these games work on Rogero 4.21. Even the new medal of honor. Played it for a bit to test it working this morning. I'm able to update all my old game too.

whoever doesn't have the new rogero cfw is missing out. It can play all the games...what else can you ask for...well for me, I don't use PSN nor want it I just enjoy the Single Player experience I never liked online. Even though I heard PSN does actually work on the new rogero cfw for those who want PSN. I played and beat Medal of Honor Warfighter today thanks to the new rogero cfw. Great campaign.
