Now here is where the story derails a bit. Forbes (since revised) reported after the leak that Rockstar then released the map officially via twitter (2nd image below). They cited as the reasoning from Rockstar is because of gamers out cry stating the map looked small. So Rockstar added the zoom cut-outs supposedly. However there is no official tweet like Forbes stated (maybe they should source next time). The only tweet in regards to the 2nd image was from a Fan Created GTA V twitter account.
So at this time it is unclear if Rockstar has released anything as there was no official comment or if this is even the real map. The good news is we have 6 days left until the release of one of the most expensive titles in gaming history.
