TB und Cobra do have access to the "master discs" (the un-crypted game content). They produced an usb dongle an encrypted the master disc files for this dongle.

So easy it is to make money

what the hell are you talking about lmao? Master disc? Are you high? there is no such thing as a "master disc".

TB uses debug eboots and mods them to check for the dongle before loading.

Cobra just modified and unlocked the PSP, PSX,PS2 emu.self files and made those look for the dongle before launching.

The Dongle DON'T DO ANYTHING, they are just a DRM protection device thats all.

to close the gap in confusion even further, guys, TB Team is resigning eboot's, and using *.sprx files from latest SDK packages and incorporating them into the eboot's that are using the later firmwares now, which is why they come out slower, they require testing. So don't expect to get keys for 3.55+ games from the SDK that's not the purpose of it, and seeing the staff here say that just to build up some buzz about the news is not wise, its misleading.

Until someone is capable of eboot decryption and resigning eboot's for the lower firmware we all use, i wouldnt expect to be playing new games without a True Blue Dongle, and as i have said before.. its 60$ cost of 1 game, and you can have all your games.. so i recommend wising up and just getting it, OR its not worth complaining, every console had a time period where you had no choice but to do certain things like get a mod chip or something of this nature, this protected method shields us from the wrath of Sony putting a stop to us playing the latest titles so i commend the TB team for protecting there method so it cannot be stopped.

Also saying every single title is a debug eboot, is a false statement, its been said numerous times, and yet theirs been no evidence to back this conclusion up whatsoever, if anyone could get eboot's then why isn't duplex and a number of other people releasing games resigned to lower firmwares ? its simply not as easy as that. they have control over the later firmwares decryption, time to accept it and move on. Its a choice no ones forcing any of you to buy it, but if you want to play the latest titles, that's your only option.

How did this turn into another TB discussion? I know there are a lot of butthurt people outthere that are against it and love letting the world know about it but lets stay on topic please!!

I am curious to see what the Devs will learn from this and if they will be able to use any of it on a 3.55CFW. It would be nice to see a HB game that didn't look like it was made to play on the NES.

I dont really care about a dongle. I just think people should focus on the dvd drive fw instead of the keys. It would be a heck of a lot easier to modify the dvd fw to play backups then trying to get the keys for total control that will only last until about a week after sony knows they are released.

With all due respect, despite your being more specific lets clearify this even further since your washing over the fact that if it was all debug eboots, everyone and there mom could just resign the eboots (obviously im generalizing here and i mean the proper elf/self format) so if your going to nit pick and just say you cannot resign eboots, you just honestly are wasting your time commenting, because that's what was clearly meant here. Also debug eboots on later firmwares ? even if they had that which honestly isnt the situation, they still need sprx files from the later SDK now or newer games wouldnt work, its why they need to be tested before being played, so with that said, you shouldnt debate clearly correct information.

Even with the eboot being decrypted into a .elf ( assuming you use the key which is in the cfw for tb ) some how you dont see anyone else just resigning said elf/self into an eboot and it working on custom firmware.. so why debate it.. its correct.
