An update to his last release, bitsbubba brings us 3.55 NFW v3. Along with the Cinavia Fix, and the hybrid TV/GAME category The Homebrew Channel, this current version also includes with Package Manager, with 'Official' Codename: Rebug permission of course. This latest version no longer supports the 3.70 Spoof, because it is much safer to use Rebug's 3.70 Version Spoofer 2.0.

Instructions aka 1-2-3 NFW (bitsbubba's Newbie Friendly Ware):
1. Format USB device FAT32
2. Place PS3UPDAT.PUP in x:/PS3/UPDATE
3. Install via XMB
NOTE: If you are not on OFW 3.55, please download and install that first, the same way you would install NFW. You can find OFW 3.55 here.

  allow installation of debug packages

Can I just install this over NFW v2 or do I have to install ofw 3.55 first. Thanks again for all ur hard work bits.

It is recommended that you go to 3.55 OFW first, but as I've told other users I myself update 3-5 times every other day (testing, even daily sometimes) and I never go to OFW (so it's really up to you if you feel you should)

Also forgot to mention that I installed nfw v2 spoofed 3.70. After I install nfw v3 just got to the rebug site and get the 3.70 spoof from them? Thanks for such a quick response bits.

hey bitsbubba,what version ps3 do you have? because i dont want to go back and fourth CFW OFW NFW, also are all your files saved when you change fw?Thanks cant wait to test out your nfw

Just install this over any firmware you are using. It will work just fine.

ok i have installed NFE v3 all went well i have install lv2patcher_bd-region_changer-Nfw do i still need to installl BDMEU V2 to use multiman manager or is install lv2patcher_bd-region_changer-Nfw enough i have installed mutiman manager full package.

This is called Newbie Friendly Ware, because that is who it is aimed at. You can not replicate REBUG FW with PS3MFW, atleast for almost everyone, presumably. You can however emulate your own NFW with PS3MFW. This FW also comes with simple, easy to use instructions, an easy to follow changelog. But at the same time, we offer links to PS3MFW and Cinavia Fix, for users who would like to become enthuseists. Really, that is what this is. We are trying to target as many people as we can, because we have all been there... you find a CFW, but no instuctions, and no real idea what is in it. You know exactly what you are getting with this. An OFW 3.55 with the current changelog, built by a trusted member of our site, bitsbubba.

You have to admit, this is some of the Newbie-Friendliest Ware around

BDEMU-2, because all of the payloads have been removed from the lv2patcher. Also, if you want FULL multiman support, it is better to install BDEMU V2, as it allows for mulitple payloads to ran through multiMAN's options.

i have also downloaded bitsbuba dowload package folder what use is fixpermissions with NFE v3 is it required? will/does it help compatability?

I am not sure the technical way to say it, but basically it fixing any problems other PAYLOADS (herms, PL3) might have caused when trying to boot your games in 3.55, instead of 3.41.

It just fixes any isses with you games, like payload errors and eboot fixes, etc.
