3.55 NFW v2 - 3.70 Spoofed + PKG PACK for NFW

Here at PSX-SCENE, we are proud to announce the 'official' arrival of bitsbubba's Newbie Friendly Ware, 3.55 NFW v2. 3.70 Spoofed and Unspoofed versions are now available. Cinavia disabled(except AVCHD and BD: Work in Progress) is already a given, and QA Flaq options are also included, although OtherOS++ has been left out for now.

Also released with NFW v2, bitsbubba's PKG-Pack-NFW; a collection of PS3 scene homebrew for installation to NFW's "The Homebrew Channel" and PS3MFW Builder's Homebrew/TV category

Be on the lookout for NFW v3 and NFW v3.0-CobraUSB (CobraUSB's CFW NEWBIFIED!!!)

Instructions aka 1-2-3 NFW (bitsbubba's Newbie Friendly Ware):
1. Format USB device FAT32
2. Place PS3UPDAT.PUP in x:/PS3/UPDATE
3. Install via XMB
NOTE: If you are not on OFW 3.55, please download and install that first, the same way you would install NFW. You can find OFW 3.55 here.

NFW v2-3.70spoofed (no icons removed)
With the versions that come SPOOFED, the only way to revert back to another FW is though Recovery Menu.

This is my first CFW I update to 3.55 the normal way, and this CFW via recovery menu. Al went fine it boots and everythingWent hij check system information it just say 3.55 ps store button is still there, and also the psp mini manual wich should have been removedand Multiman keep nagging about BDemu but when I run lv2 patches it worksIs this normal??

Before uploading I install on my own systen everything worked the way it should have, make sure you get the right link ,download again make sure to check checksums and re-install

Here is the BDEMU package that multiMAN keeps asking you for:

Could the problem be that I installed it trough recovery mode? It has a different boot logo and I can install pks

Well this is my first time trying a CFW LOL so i guess i'll try this one Good bye 3.41 you was a Good friend and we had some good times

It is worth a try. And after you install OFW 3.55, re-install NFW through the XMB.

BTW... i installed 3.55 OFW then tried installing this CFW from XMB and got... "Can not install Newer FW is installed blah blah... SO i am doing it thought the recovery menu... i hope i don't run into the same problem he did with the No Homebrew channel.

Was your system ever downgraded from 3.55? Or are you 100% sure that is was not?

Nah, never downgraded But does not matter, everything went good, and i have the Homebew channel and everything.

Never changed it so standard one, i gotta go to bed I have to work in 5 hours

The sad part to all this is i done the CFW install so i could play this game YET it still does not work Just my luck i guess. The game is El Shaddai Ascension of the Metatron(USA) And i applied the FIX yet still does not work

try the homebrew pack in the first post they install straight to "The Homebrew Channel"

Go to the collections in my sigs, or bitsbubba's sig, and re-download all you favorite apps for 3.55
