    Since most people are wondering where to download 3.55 homebrew, for their newly jailbroken console, we've created this easy to browse location. The following files, are 3.55 compatible and rebuilt with GeoHot's tools. Currently, these homebrew packages only work on GeoHot's custom firmware. If you have a link to add, reply to this topic and it will be added here.

      open manager with no backups working ---- priceless lol........so whats the purpose of it now?....

      so whats the official verdict. Does open manager and multiman run backups? I have seen several reports or yes and no. I also saw one that says direct boot backups work but not ones that required a disc. Please anyone shed some official light on this.

      Not yet - give it a day or two, and my guess would be, that we'll see some updates

      Things will come the following days.
      I believe that they are working on a way to boot backed up games. I personally think that backupped games will come with a eboot.bin file for each game to work around all the problems. It that case, this will do. Just the GeoHot's firmware and a filemanager will do the trick. After that it's waiting for the games properly cracked to hit the internet.

      Other then that... I don't know anything

      Does anyone have any info about a media player for the ps3?
      Cuz it would be nice to play mkv vids with softsub support.

      I put snesx9 on there. Can I just remove the pkg file now? also do I need to make a ROMS folder and SAVES folder in the PS3 folder inside or something?

      unfortunately, that doesn't help at all because i was trying to avoid transcoding/re-encoding. Although i do love a good google search as much as the next guy .

      anyone knows if sony could ban ppl for just using homebrews? or they can't detect if users are using homebrews? and same questions about backups?
