PS3 3.70 Appldr Keys Released

With the leak of the lv0 keys comes another set of keys for the PlayStation 3 community. This time a member from Spanish website elotrolado, member dosjuanes has posted the PS3 3.70 appldr keys. The keys in question have been tested by many scene developers and can also be found on the PlayStation developer wiki. It's a shame that we did not have these a little sooner. Would have helped with all the games one was unable to play on CFW3.55.

I think that is right but there will be people who will stay on 3.55 for years just like there are still people on 3.41

Me too in the same club. I would think about 4.2x only when there are no patches for 3.55 for newer games anymore. With new groups with patches and keys being released, why would I move away from something that is stable. And to be precise, FW is for the security unlike something like directX on PC where the software upgrade is actually necessary to run the games. So even when sony comes with OFW 5.x as long as there are patches and keys released i would stick to 3.55.

there are some things added. if you ever get a 3d bluray, you won't be able to play it. ps2 emulated software, can't play that either.

can't talk though, i'm still not updated to 4.21 yet. i'm pissing myself worried about a brick.

That is not true it is not just about security. 4.21 CFW has Vita compatibility, as well as cloud storage for saved games. Also when you first turn on the PS3, exit a game or exit multiman, the icons load almost instantly without having the turning circle waiting for them to appear. I am VERY glad that I updated because of those three things I just mentioned and the fact that I don't need to wait for a patch I can play games the moment they are released.

But with this keys we can had, for example, a GT5 2.05 patch fix on 3.41/3.55FW, correct ??

that's because when you flash your console with 4.21 your internal HDD will become empty !!! that's why you didn't saw the turning circle yet !!

no wee are still missing the NPDRM keys for resining updates...

What? I installed 4.21 CFW and it did NOT format my HDD.. My hard drive is not empty.

whew, thanks for clearing that up! i would definitely not go to 4.21 if that happened. i have waaayyy too much on my hard drive to lose or even back up.

I'm on cfw 3.55 if I go to ofw 3.55 the games on the interna HDDl will not gone ?

and did 4.21 cfw have the new playstation store design ??? and did ''the trophy '' location changed from games Section to Network ??

How can I add these 3.70 keys into SCETool? I'm using SCETool Gui 0.2.7 and just adding the keys inside "keys" file in "data" folder doesn't seem to work for me.

Yer these keys arn't going to help with anything like all the new hits such as AC3 black ops 2 they change them at 4.11 we need the 4.20 keys!
Or else this is just a waste of time!

If you take the time to look around we have those keys too
