I have been toying with the idea of front paging this for a day of two. Ever since I thought I should get a little more active on Twitter. While online I noticed a few Tweets by @dantezteam claiming access to PSN on pretty much any custom firmware. At first I was skeptical until I asked some MODS here to validate his claims and Shaitan pulled through. Well my skepticism was met with truth, PSN is back for custom firmware users!!

OpenPS3FTP can be found under Network column not Games - Note: first time I used this program. I wondered where the hell it was. LMFAO
OpenPS3FTP Username: root
OpenPS3FTP Password: anything - what ever you want

Make sure to backup your CERT27 and also to REBOOT the PS3 after install.

Confirmed WORKING!

IP address .... 192.168.1.*** - A IP NOT USED BY OTHER PC's and SUCH in your home/business
Subnet Mask ... 255.255.255.0
Default gateway... 192.168.1.1 - YOUR DEFAULT ROUTER IP
DNS Server1.... 192.168.1.*** - YOUR PC IP
DNS Server2.... 192.168.1.1 or 8.8.8.8

What router do you own? The portforward link was just a guide. It doesn't find the ports for you.

If you know your router, google it and then find the guide or manual for it on how to port forward.

Mine for example is Netgear - The Default Port Forwarding Guide for the Netgear WNDR4500 - PortForward.com

Also as BahumatLord says make sure skype, or no torrent running

A fresh reboot of the pc is good.

It was still working for me a few minutes ago.

You could also open a command prompt under Admin, and type in 'netstat' to see whats running on your network.

OK, im online on PSN & on MW3 ver 1.20 but i cannot connect to the server.
F*psn gives me a error-msg about:
Exception thrown while processing mw3-ps3-auth.prod.daemonware.net [...]

anyone here managed it?

Im on DEX3.55 rogero UNSPOOFED with F*psn

Please for the love of God don't buy anything on PSN. You can download anything that doesn't need activated. But since we have really no way of knowing what needs activated and what doesn't (safe bet that most if not all items released in the last year or two needs activated) it's going to be a crap shoot on what you'll be able to buy

I will add to Bahumat it may also have hidden code to mess up CFW just a guess but better safe the sorry

That error code is a PSN gamesharing error. Not sure how to fix though, especially now that you can only have 2 consoles, and not 5. And when you deactivate, I think you have to wait seven days to activate again.

No , it does take seven days for it too work.,I did this last time psn was open. So this time it worked for me.

Now I've figured everything out my problem doesn't have fix if u want to know why read this in dashhacks here's the link to dashhacks

that because the psn is down for maintenance but the thing that really drives me mad is that logging in on pc works properly
now the error still exists even after using 4.25 enabler\disabler and thank u windrider42 4 ur efforts.u're really an awesome man

It all gets activated, everytime you download again. I have bought a few months ago , and recently. Once activated and downloaded, its all good.

I found a way to buy things on PSN sucessfully using DEX firmware 3.55

If you are familiar with REBUG's Bookmark trick to get free PSN things, you will basically do the same thing here, although this time you will be buying them legitimately.

Successfully bought games including Persona, Hatsune Miku EXTEND and other things that requires 4.11 playing on DEX firmware.

I don't know what you mean by REBUG's Bookmark trick. I don't miss much but I missed that one. And would you mind explaining how you managed to be on PSN on DEX 4.21. Are you using F*ckPSN and if so how did you replace the CERT file? I don't have write access on mine

He is on DEX 3.55, he just bought those things ( i think)
[perhaps u could extract 4.21 DEX PUP, replace the CERT 27 file, then pack&sign it with 3.55 Keys as DEX-3.55-MFW??]

Im on 3.55 DEX & on PSN with F*PSN & playin MW3 its NICE

Just one thing is not perfect: Disc read error on Terminal Map :/ I think its because it is not the DUPLEX-version, just the rip of my BD (but it IS BLUS3***)...
