It's not b/c of NPDRM. It's just an index file that gets updated with the PARAM info when you install a pkg. If you rebuild the pkg with the corrected PARAM everything's fine. If you just ftp/copy the fixed update files then you need a spoofer for the first boot when the index gets updated

Yeah thats why i used "I think" I never fully researched cause well never ran into the problem, but good to know otherwise.

Only reason I know is b/c my TV doesn't display 576 or 720 - only 480 and 1080 so I had to do some research to play some PAL games properly. Mainly posted that because a lot of people are confused as to why they get asked to update their system after patching

Anybody got Naruto to work? The game keeps asking me to update to 1.01 after I launched it. If I press cancel, I got black screen. If I update, I get "An error occurred during the start operation (80010017). I tried "select+x" in Multiman, it also didn't work.

copy the patch.pkg to usb drive fat32 and then install it from Install Package under Game Icon .

Just a few months ago we didn't have any of these eboot fixes. Have some patience, or get the skills to fix them yourself.

I know this might be a stretch but you could always buy the game and play it on your converted DEX console. There isn't one single disc game out now that you can't play if you buy it

Even some 4.21 games (like Tekken Tag 2) are patched and playable...

My real questions is :
Is this (kind) games requires some other files to patch?
What is the difference this game and cracked ones?
-Even there are have same (or different?) encryption...

Yeah, i put that file up on PS3SF its NOT NEW. that release team had a 1.00 patch that didnt work, so then finally the 102 patch does.
