Yes, that is correct! What a lot of people miss is that when these game_data patches are made (i.e. 1.01 and above)--basically if you see only a 1.00--then that means it's just to patch the game backup you have--but if it goes beyond that game version--it's more than likely it's going to be a game_update fix--so you need to install the full game update first before applying the fix that NODRM provides you with

What's impressive is that NODRM team is actually giving us game_update patches--something that TB wasn't good at doing for us.

So remember, you need to download the game_updates from Sony first and then install these "fix" patches by NODRM afterward.

Now then, if you notice that each patch fix only has an eboot and a param.sfo and nothing else, I guess it's safe to just install all the game updates and then lastly the very last game data patch (fix). But you need to open the fix pkgs (or folders) and see if it patches any other files besides those two files.

Also, they ought to fix the error in the first page. There was no patch fix for Twisted Metal 1.03--it doesn't exist. To avoid any confusion.

Hey if possible can someone upload the original Eboot and Parm,sfo for Twisted Metal, I have yet to get this to work, that for the explanations Jay-Jay somewhere along the line I replace something with something else and not it won't work (MW3 either)

I'm not complaining, but what is the point with releasing 7 eboot cracks for one game (in this case, Twisted Metal)? Why would anyone want to choose i.e patch 1.04 instead of patch 1.06?

EDIT: I forgot that some games requires all patches to be installed for some reason. Maybe Twisted Metal is one of those games.

Oka, but Im confused. How do you install all of the patches? I mean, do u just copy and replace EBOOT and SFO seven times? how does this make a difference? Couldn't you just copy and replace with the last patch (106)??

From the nfo file I read this:
"Replace included files in game dir (NOT in dev_hdd0/game/BLES01481)"

So where do I have to copy them?

Install all official patches... After that install nodrm patch into game directory, NOT into GAMES.

I think I am missing a passage.
I overwrote with the nodrm files in /dev_hdd0/GAMEZ/BCUS98106/PS3_GAME, then I installed all the official patches amd i put 1.06 SFO in /dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98106, and the 1.06 EBOOT in /dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98106/USRDIR. But when i try to start the game a message appears: "you need system software 3.70".
What I am doing wrong? Thanks...

I finally got it work Naruto UNSG!!!
It runs only on external hard disk, with the patch intalled as usually (copied them into /games/BLES01481) and with a disk in.

well I don't want to say it was super easy, but quite straight forward

thanks for the twisted metal updates I can finally play online with fkpsn!

basically once you start out you will not have a folder in /dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98106

basically the first patch 1.00 is the eboot for the actual game disc... so you install that overtop of whereever your ripped copy of the game is (games/gamez)

make sure you use PsnEula.ppu.sprx it goes in "PS3_GAME/USRDIR/prx"

then you put 1.01 pkg on a usb stick/drive

run it... then you will get a folder in in /dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98106

but the game wont open...

you must patch those files overtop in in /dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98106 by FTP, then open the game... it will do its thing and take you to the main menu at that point you want to exit of the game and repeat with the next patch (1.02/etc)

you will have to run the pkg, then patch the files in in /dev_hdd0/game/BCUS98106 then boot up the game and exit everytime

this must be done for all the patches (up to 1.06) if you want to get on psn.

I did not find a 1.03 patch anywhere hosted, I suspect it is not needed at all because I did not use it and everything is working for me.

It is simple really.
For twisted metal copy nodrm 1.00to GAMES/blus98106, after that boot game and allow it to patch to 1.06..
After that copy nodrm 1.06 to hdd0/game/blus98106.
Newest multiman feature? 0.0

Anyone know why Dragons Dogma is not working? I have installed the pkg from the nfo file. Then I replaced the EBOOT and SFO. Still I get the data not supported error in the xmb. What am I doing wrong? This is from my external.

You probably placed an eboot and param.sfo in the wrong place. Perhaps it should have been put in the game data folder instead of the backup folder. Open the param.sfo with a param editor to see what type it is. If it says game disc or game data. If you did this, then you are going to need to restore the default files in the game disc backup.

In this very long long thread, I discuss the various kinds.. I suggest for you to find them.

Wtf. I always just replace the files in the backup folder and it usually always work. But what you're saying is that I have to go download the game again, because I don't have the original EBOOT and SFO anymore. Then install the pkg. And this time replace the patch (EBOOT and SFO) with the files in the "game data" folder?
