nativesith, a name synonymous with PS3 GTA IV Modding; and for good reason, too. He was bringing GTA IV mods to the PS3 long before he created the Official PS3 GTA IV Modding Team here at PSX-Scene with SILENT_Pavel, JDMAlex, and EvilB; which has gone on to add several new members: Three-Socks, blueplanet, HuN, jumper, and ribonucleic.

Well, right after the team was formed, NewestISH was released, and it opened up a whole new chapter in the GTA IV modding scene. Due to the fact of the still present popularity of this particular mod, nativesith has now updated his infamous creation to NewestISH VII.

NewestISH V II

Recently I went to Ps3 Scenefiles and downloaded the NewestISH, that was the first release of this section. Pavel showed off the CTE(Console Texture Editor) and it was a result.
Following dat tradition I updated to have lil pigs and removed other ISH that caused bugs.

NewestISH V II (bug free)
-No non colored Radio Icons.
-Old English font for pause Menu.
-Lil Pigs in place of wanted stars.
-Reality IV.
-Two versions with and without sexy loading screens.

Simply replace the common and ps3.rpfs into your USRDIR folder of the actual game location(IE. hdd0/GAMES/BLUS30127/PS3_GAME>>USRDIR<<)
Works with Evil Blunts on/offline package.

Looks Great! Excited to try it out! All your guys' mod stuff is relighting the flaming monsoon of a fire in my heart as my love for GTA IV. I needed stuff like this to hold me off till GTA V comes out. Thanks!

once you have replaced the files and start the game how do you get the mod menu up?

OK...
1st of all delete the game data replace the files and install Evil's wicked package and select the game in Multimanager and install game data. That will give you the ability to select the modman from the phone or by pressing R3 + L3. Thinking people want the fire? I will upload my update.img which replaces the save_anywhere.sco with Ribo's Particle Effects so it will be like the video.
I do not have a job for medical reasons. I have Anemia which led to a heartattack and now that requires surgery. It is for dis reason I am taking a break from rpf modding and coding fo a while.
But enjoy the NewestISH V II ,which I believe sets the standard for visual mods of GTA IV.

Once you have installed the rpfs, installed the package, and installed game data.
Replace the update.img in
hdd0/game/BLUS30127/PS3_GAME/>>USRDIR<<
Then one will ave ribo's Particles instead of Save anywhere.
Load up Modman (through the phone er by pressing R3+L3)and enable it to play with da effects.

Hi,
first of all, wish u all the best for your health nativesith.

Anyway, im new to the gta4 mod scene. I wanna try out that fine looking ISH mod here.
But how/where to start?

Is there a website from the developer where i can download the whole package?
I just downloaded "newestISH", but i guess its only an update, not the whole mod, is it?

Is there any tutorial out there or something? Or at least a place where i can download all that i need to mod gta4?

1st of all delete yo game data. Back up yo original common and ps3.rpf located in
hdd0/GAMES/BLUS30127/PS3_GAME>>USRDIR<< or Ext/GAMES/BLUS30127/PS3_GAME/>>USRDIR<<.

NewestISH is a common.rpf and a ps3.rpf. Copy em to a usb and replace the common and ps3.rpfs into your USRDIR folder of the actual game location.

That really is it lol. Once the ISH is in one could install the Evil Package and start installing game data(with/without mod packages). Also My update.img w/ Ribo's Particles can be placed in
hddo\game\BLUS30127\PS3_GAME\>>>USRDIR<<<

All in dis order.
Delete game data, replace files, install Evil's Pack, install game data and then install the update.img after all lol.

Ps3 Scenefiles will soon be hosting NewestISH V II , since they got V I and V I.I.

Am, Hi I can't make this work, following your TUT ends up to a black screen to me? I mean I did the same thing, Delete game data, Replace the 2 rpf files, then install evil package, then install GTA IV. It ended to a black screen. so I tried installing evil package only with the original rpf files, it installed but i'm encountering infinite load screens.

What could go wrong?

Am, Hey guys, I explained my problem more to post it in the link provided by tthousand, but an error appears telling me that I cannot post links, even there are no links in my post, so I decided to post it in PS3 Hax,

Hi Peepz, ever since I figured out about GTA IV Mods, I've been trying to make it work in my PS3 but I always end up to a failure, after following many TUTs, I was only able to do the Mods about editing the weaponinfo.xml, (sorry I forgot what are those apps that I used).

anyway, somehow, what I notice is, whenever I replace ps3.rpf, that is when I fail.
First, I always delete the game data (PS3 System>Game Data>GTA IV), then replace the rpf files (common.rpf and ps3.rpf), then install game data. After these, Screen wents Blank, for a couple of minutes. that is why I can only use modified common.rpf files.

Also, if I try installing Evil Package only, without replacing any of the rpf files, installation starts and finishes, but what I encounter this time, is infinite loadscreens.

Now I found this post by Nativesith, NewestIsh V II, and I wanna give it a shot (sorry, I'm a new member and still cannot post links). so following the steps, still ends up to a black screen. so I give up on repeating the procedures.

Here's is my case, I am on rebug 3.55, my GTA IV is Complete edition (with the EFLC), when I first saw the Modding thing I can't make it work, and since my brother is always updated to this jailbreak thing, he thinks that it must be the eboot. So he change the eboot of my GTA IV (before BLUS30127; after Bles..559, something like this) to an eboot of GTA IV only (without EFLC, I still have the backup). Then I was able to make the Mods with modifying the weaponinfo.xml only, But those with changing the ps3.rpf are Failures..

So anybody who can, help me?

Sounds like ya got da ISH just need a package. Try Delete that game data and install any of Evil Blunt's packages(tested all of em) and then reinstall by selecting in Multimanager.
Once done you should be able to access the mod menu through the phone or by pressing R3+L3.

1st delete that game data,

Then when selected in Multiman it will install game data w/ the mods .
