Sad to report the abuse, but proclaimed "downgrade" feature is not implemented in this one. Tried to fall back from 4.20 DEX both from recovery and XMB - corrupted data... Dunno if I would be able to update from 3.55 - haven't checked yet, and don't feel like it.
Also, one handy advice for you folks. Once you at 3.55 with peek/poke, use Shaitan's method for switching firmwares - make 'updater' folder at dev_hdd0, folders 01,02...0X inside and fill them up with firmwares, one per folder. This way, you'll spare your time running around with USB devices by simply switching FW's through System Storage Update option.

@RUT Dark Ronin - yeah, I had trouble going back to 3.55 from 4.20. I ended up using the one deank linked to in his conversion guide and it worked well. Great advice by the way about the debug updates. I've got about 10 in mine right now. The only time you would need to have an update on a USB drive is when you're going from DEX 2 CEX and vice versa

I'm on rogero 3.55dex v2 right now. How do you use the downgrade feature on it? Can you also downgrade straight from 4.20dex to rogero3.55dex or do u have to use 3.55downgrader pup first and then go to rogero3.55dex? Thank you for your help!

In another forum, where rogero posted his DEX CFW, he said he didnt get to test it because he doesnt have his ps3 AND (PAY ATTENTION TO THIS) downgrading from 4.11 is ok but from 4.20 probably not.
