'effin hell. The first JB dongles here was like DOUBLE the cost of what the TB, cobra and GhayB-King dongle cost now.

It's a CHEAP solution.
And don't get me starting on comparing this solution to other solutions on other scenes. While it isn't directly comparable, because of the differences in systems and in games, I think it's still a plausible argument to get everybody to stfu!
Xbox360 is more expencive, but has many of the same titles (even online play for those daring enough <-- lol this is like 10 goals if this was a soccer match) + it seems theres so much more support over there

And again: geez at saying they are money hungry - Then so was every other dongle before that.
Not everyone had a calculator, Ipod or whatever the hell you could jailbreak your PS3 with - The dongles made it easier, and basicly, eventually, at a much cheaper cost than the alternatives.

Cracking TB, as I see it, wouldn't cause devs to release better/more/whatever homebrews.
- Not saying the current development is bad or crap. No, not in any way. I think (nearly) every little bit of stuff getting put out is good. If not great!

What I'm saying is this:
- If it is SOLELY, and ONLY because you want to backup your LEGAL GAMES and be able to play said games OFFLINE on your STINKY CONSOLE.
THEN WHY ARE YOU BUYING LEGAL GAMES IF YOU CAN'T PLAY THEM?
TB cost the same, even in some cases LESS than a new game + Then you get to play some of your (made up) pre-purchased games. And even then still continue to buy new games.

Come on, all of this ****ing drama is about being able to play games - FOR FREE!

No. this is unrelated to your problem. go into multiMAN's file manager and navigate to dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608 and check the properties of that folder so you can get the file size. It sounds like you need to clear the cache. There's a folder in there that you can delete the contents to get your free space back

probably because making the clone of hardware dongle is different from writing code. with USB they can 'snoop' the signals and make 'dongle emulator' or something like that. but to write patches they would need to break Sony encryption which is presumably a lot harder if not impossible.

TB is payment to be able to play games FOR FREE, Yep i said it !
What makes a TB owner more likely to PAY for games ? its most likely bought to avoid exactly that !
Dont hide behind ethics, in that sense TB is no more than a toll to pass certain straits for pirates, who still pirate!


Im not jealous, if I was I would own a TB by now, but Im more of an explorer who like to have all possibilities open, my real beef is with Sony who provides the main obstacles. BT is just not helping the scene around the obstacle. And as for patches for games there might be more of those if the functions of the dongle became available for all dev's. Your 360 reference is a really good example of exactly that.

What if the next time TB Trips Out they DELETE your backups off your UBS HD, or Re format's your USB HD.... man all that hard work time and effort MONTHS if not YEARS of saving and setting things up, that would suck azz... for me its not worth even a $100 difference in price, I don't got money but you cant get back years of your life, and 2 make backups of backups that's not feasible 2Tb drives cost more than the dongle itself..

I wouldn't touch JBK with your D'ck none the less mine...

Plus I have a feeling about this team I think TB is more than the real deal, I think there gonna take this thing full circle PSN BABY... where over due for something GREAT there the only ones making any True Head Way, and they understand the core files no dout in my mind, I hope this little battle ends so we can see what they really got...

TB uses a USB exploit that was blocked after the 3.56 update, so there will probably be no way to be able to get back on PSN.
There is a rumor that TB are working on a modchip that will allow the playing of backups on OFW.
THe only problem is that when people mess with PSN. Sony fights back.

Right let me put you's straight on a few things, 1st theJBK won't release any code cause quite frankly they dont even know how to, they are the leeches of the scene, so they could never release what they dont understand.

They also made a weak copie of the TB meaning thet never fully copied the device@ How can you tell this? Because the TB updates are able to tell the difference between the 2.

Also the people who are saying the TB team are copying the old dongles, well since they are infact the original JB team which brought you the 1st dongle then everyone copied them, how do i know this? Well i know who the team are, they don't want linked with their old dongle but thats their choice, im just telling you's, also you's could have guessed that yourselfs as they are the ones with all the knowledge and off course they took a long time to release their new TB dongle until they had its security well protected enough to release it which is a good thing for them as they have every right to protect their work.

CFW? Its never going to happen so get that out of your heads, the devs won't be able to break it without devices that have to be paid for so theres no point in waiting around.

Buying a JBK? That would be the dumbest move to make now, the wiping off hard drives believe it or not is baby steps, yous are going to lose everything, do not listen to what the JBK team is telling you's as it is a lie as they can see the writing on the wall and they know that now their dongle is on life support, you might not like it but thats the damn truth.

Whether you's like the team or not they are the only way for you to play your new games, they took a massive hit in the beginning with their 1st dongle, believe me when i tell you's that they are ready to go toe to toe with anyone this round now, they reason sony hasn't blocked it is because they cant, it's as simple as that, sony knows it and the people in the know in the scene know this.

People have learned from the 1st wave of dongles, they aint going to let the same mistakes happen again.

True Blue: $58

That's only $23 cheaper than the True Blue dongle. The hassles of worrying about anti-clone codes and waiting for them to recycle TB's patches outweigh the meager savings. Now, if it were about $20, then sure.

I ordered a TB just yesterday , its on its way , I paid 58$ maybe a little expensive but from a trusted reseller on China . I dont have problem with new games because I have a gamer PC , I can enjoy newer games like Skyrim , BF3 , Arkham City , Mass Effect 3 etc. but I miss exclusives of PS and exclusives for consoles like FFXIII-2 and Soul Calibur V , I cant wait to get in my hands the TB dongle and release it magic , maybe JB-King is cheaper , but I'll stay with the pioneer of 3.56+ games TB

Jailbreak King and it's update is a failure because TB hasn't released anything and the dongle is already useless. TB sill have all the power since they have a deeper understanding about the ps3. So this will not effect them. If JB king cant make their own eboots they are wasting time on a dongle.

Remember when the scene used to be open sourced and look what happened to it? I came to realize it is not TB that bring the drama to the scene because they are doing everything right. It is the end users that bring the flames.

Open source is bad look what happened to VHBL I made the right choice when I went to OFW nothing is going to change anytime soon. Endusers will still complain about something. TB served me well I have nothing bad to say about them. I hope they still be around if not thanks for making me play my games instead of waiting like some people are doing. Its was a 60 dollars well spent.
