Yeah, but like I said before, this is the way it is right now. TB is the only way to play the new games. I don't want to wait until 2013 or 2014 to play 2011 or 2012 games. I hope that makes some sense to you. It is what it is. I can afford it--TB was a good investment to my goal. My goal is to stay with CFW and still play new games on the PS3.

I've been installing these PS2 modchips for over 10 years and no one that comes to me says they want it installed to play imports or HB

You must be too innocent to say that these EBOOTs are "free". When or how many times have you heard that the "team" behind true blue, makes modified eboots for their dongle?, So they take off problems when Sony get them, "they just made ​​the dongle, did not change anything to run pirated games", serious fault of end user. How are you being screwed by TB for buying games that you knew would not play on FW 3.55? If you want to play said games without TB update your FW! You can't have it both ways, well actually you can, since you are not cheap do as I did and buy a 2nd PS3 with OFW. With a 2nd PS3 there is no need for TB. But I guess if you're to cheap to buy TB to play new games you sure as hell aren't going to buy a 2nd PS3. Long live free enterprise and those that come up with services/ devices that people want, need and or desire!! If you don't want to use another persons service/ device come up with your own solution. Once you have said solution invest in the production of that hardware and give it away for free. It would probably be cheaper for you to just buy TBs and give them out as you would have no R&D, machinery, or labor costs. I'm with Cobra right now but I'm strongly considering doing the switch or getting the True Blue & switching between firmwares using Shaitan swap firmware.

Question: The Games that I have now on my ext. HDD will I be able to play them with TB? Can I just add the new games that were patched to my already existing ext HDD & play and have access to all the games?

yes your other backups should be fine but the new tb games which require a patch you will only be able to use with tb but i did send an email to cobra and they said that they are working on getting 3.6 games 2 work

cryis I completely agree with you. I was never able to put my dislike for true blue in words and you hit on the nail. As far as titles like resistance,batman,etc I'm almost sure they have the eboots. They figure why give it all at once when they can get more customers. I fell that someone talented left the scene and decided to profit off their talents. Never the less I love my ps3 and a lot of good games have come out for psn and if I can't play it I just buy it for the xbox.

If people want to buy TB it's up to them, but I am sure the people who have bought TB would agree that they would rather get the TB functions FREE as part of a CFW then have to fork out £45/$65 for it. I know if i'm given the option to pay for something or have it for free I'll choose the free option.

What TB owners fail to understand is that the argument is not against them and it's not against the TB functionality. It is the fact that 99% of the scene has worked really hard and released their work, free of charge for everyone to benefit from. We have Multiman, we have Showtime, we have countless CFW's, we have hundreds of small homebrew programs, we have emulators and homebrew games etc, none of them cost anything. So why should TB be any different? Why should TB come along into a free scene and charge when no one else is? Does Deank charge for Muliman? No. Does anyone else charge? Only Cobra who are just as bad.

My point is, you have a free scene where everyone shares work with each other, then TB/Cobra come along & whack a price tag on it. If you want to support that you can, it's your choice. I personally won't.

Thats just bull, we have just a few good devs who were freely releasing stuff and the others weren't releasing a damn thing and were keeping it all for themselves. Thats why the scene was pretty much dead until TB came along. So what if we have to buy a dongle, its better than nothing, which is what all the haters have, NOTHING!
