News comes to me regarding a
tool downloaded by PlayStation 3 Developer CrashSerious from the JB-King website. This is not a good start for the JB King dongle as far as credibility is concerned. The
MD5 Verify Tool was infected by a worm called FlySky.AD which "spreads and affects other computers, and has damaging effects on the affected computer." This will bring allot of speculation around the validity of the soon to be released JB King donlge. I am unable to log on to their website to see for myself but other reports suggest that the file in question has been removed.
To Quote:
FlySky.AD. is a virus that also has the characteristics of a worm. FlySky.AD. gets into a computer via e-mail, the Internet, floppy disks, etc, and it spreads by inserting its code in other files and programs. Its effects can range from simply annoying to destructive. Furthermore, due to its worm characteristics, FlySky.AD. also spreads by sending out copies of itself. Its main objective is to collapse computers and networks, preventing users from working with the affected computer.
Could this just be user error?
