I am Done with Sony!?!?

I am done with Sony, not to be confused with the scene, but the actual company. They give us constant, and yet mostly pointless, updates all of the time... They gave us the PS Move, in which I have not nearly enjoyed as much as I have the Wii or the Kinect. And, I can not say I have enjoyed any of the offerings from the PS+ service either, even if I have downloaded a ton of software.

Let me start over... Last year I had just updated to 3.42 on my Backwards Compatible (* Referred to as BC hereafter) model PS3 right before I heard about the whole scene going on, and that there was a jailbreak available to those still on 3.41. Well, I went ahead and got my hands on another console (non-BC), and have become tthousand to everyone in the scene ever since.

Anyways, long story short; I do not want to update my BC console that is now currently on 3.73 to 4.0, as it will result in the loss of me being able to transfer multiple titles to my PSP consoles. I mean, I could transfer all the files I have right now on 3.73 to one of the PSPs I have (and then store them on the PC; would that even work?), but I do not currently have the other one.

The only reason I am still with these guys is because of this damn PS+ service they offer... and I just happened to upgrade to a 500gb internal HDD right before I updated to 3.42 and did not want that space to go to waste. If only I would have stayed on 3.55 with the BC console, I could have two jailbroken consoles on 3.55, and not be missing a damn thing. I think it is about time to cancel my PSN account.

The only downside to downgrading my BC console is that I would not be able to enjoy dongles such as Cobra-USB, or True Blue... But on the other hand, at this point Sony has not really offered me anything to keep me interested.

The bottom line is, I have been a Sony fan for a long time, and all they have given me is this lousy T-Shirt... What the $&%@ does that even say, Sony?!?! Xbox gives free MS points all the time... Nintendo gives me a whole bunch cool stuff and more... what the heck is wrong with you guys, Sony? I mean seriously, who gives a shirt like that?

while I'm still enjoying ps3 exclusives on my 3.55 CFW PS3... I ranted my disappointment in the form of buying an XBOX 360 + Kinect for this christmas. I'm having loads of fun! PS: I'm keeping xbox legit as in no hack and i buy used games or i buy them very cheap online.

I agree. While i'm getting older, my taste for games is moving towards the most fun and playfull instead of the seriousness and hardcore. I mean, i don't seem to enjoy hardcore/photorealistic/8 hour games so much as i used to when i was younger. I feel happier when i think of buying a compatible A/C Adapter for my Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and play that baby for a few hours a day.
