This was unexpected. Definitely will consider buying and also hope someone reverse engineer's the technique!

So this is simliar to the Action Replay of the PS2? hmm interesting it would be amazng if it could run .elf files etc like the AR did in the good old days lol

it's not actual cheat codes like infinite health, all this does is let you use other peoples saves without cfw this is a godsend for the ps3 community because people will no longer need 2 ps3s or data transfer to transfer save files over, i just hope this works, i want video proof before i hand over my cash, there was a homebrew version similar to what this does but it doesn't work as well, i hope this works better.

what interest me is that it claims it even works with copy protected save files, that is a very high claim to make, how would the user transfer them over to the ps3 is they are copy protected? you certainly won't be able to transfer them to a usb drive and copy them to your ps3, they are nontransferable.

So this simply signs a save game to your profile?
I can see it being useful but will not drive the scene forward if reverse engineered.

yep that is exactly does that, i don't know about driving the scene forward but if someone got a hold of this software and find out what they are doing then yeah.

What is needed isnt to reverse the software but rather the method used to boot it. It works on OFW it claims which means that this company has found a way of booting a piece of code on the PS3 that is not signed by sony.

"cheats" these days means game saves not cheat codes, people like xploder like to abuse that word regardless of it being misleading or not just to make it sell, why don't you try the software and then you come back and tell me if you find your "cheats"

i have a copy it works for what it says converting the Saves around .. but Codefreaks is better if u can get your hands on it ..

it alows u to mod the game save Example give your self max money if u really want and so on ..

o and it has nothing to do with unsigned code they just reversed the save function and found out what keys to use and so on to encrypt them back.. to look official ..
there is no diffrince between an offical Save and Modded save ..

hmm Looks like a download...I'm surprised it hasn't been leaked to warez sites. lol(not saying I want to pirate it) Just saying I rather see how many people are paying for it to see what games they got and what they don't got. I imagine Codefreak would be way better. Codefreak has been out quite a bit longer.

I don't understand something. It's for launch on PC (app which modify saves) or by PS3 side? If by PS3 this would be awesome because mean some method to run code on PS3 (Proper signed EBOOTs? Cloned some BD sectors from not avaible and not writeable do -R/RE area to pass through disv verification?).

Second thing is question if/how to handle PARAM.PFD. If not, it's useless crap.

Codefreaks is a japan only cheat device i doubt a lot of people would have access to it, and can you answer some questions as you say you have the software.

can you use any save from the internet and convert it to your profile? or are you restricted to the saves they have on their server from the xploder program.

have you tried copy protected locked save files and transferred them over to the ps3 successfully? do they load and save file?

can you gain trophies from the save files that you have resigned from the program?

a big warning to anyone buying this piece of buggy junk, it doesn't work and i don't see any evidence on their forums of anyone saying it works, i decided to take a chance and buy it but i just wasted £15 i experimented with uncharted 3 and was unsuccessful, if anyone has any tips on how to get your PSN ID to work with saves you download from the net it would help a lot, i won't hold my breath for any help but at least i tried.

Yes trophies will gain..
i know the codefreak one Disbales the Copy protection so that u can move them onto OFW. not look at this with Xploder yet .

with xploder the easyway to get it to work is to Format the USB (u can use Xploder to do so) copy a save to the usb next . In the right location put back into your pc run xploder .. look at the media Files on my memory card window .. and click on it then go pick My Ps3 Game saves u will see the Ps3 savs u have in the USB pop up under the Media files on my memory card ..

now u can goto internet downloads and grab there saves .. or upload your own ..
if u dont have saves on your memcard it has no way of getting your Online ID or account ID .. and this is whats needed to make the save play on your ps3. as u drag or move the save over to your memory card (USB) it will Convert the save and add your id and encrypt it back .. to use on your ps3.. not every function of this needs online on your PC .. none of this works offline ..

It can get things like infinite health, since not only can you resign game saves you can also edit them an then resign them if you know how. Of course other people will do this and keep them in the xploder cheat system for you . You can't actually change the game code, but when the game accesses the game saves you could easilyt tell it you have max stats or a stupid amount of gold/potions etc.
