Driver PS3 PSN San Francisco Fix for CFW by team DUPLEX & More

The Duplex team we all know about has released many new PSN titles for those who have purchased the following games. One of which is Driver San Francisco reported on many scene sites. Here is a list of all of there releases for those on custom firmware 3.55. We bring this news to you in hope that you are indeed the owner of such said downloadable content and prefer the freedom of the custom firmware you are running. psx-scene does not support piracy as we should all contribute to the brilliant developers that bring us these games for our entertainment. yay, this is actually my first, 'thanks to...' news post, i know its quite sad that i'm happy about it - i usually get beaten to it by someone else

p.s. i did beat you to it slightly (about an hour and a half according to the post times) although there was about 3 posts about an hour after me, lol, sorry dude

I was surprised when I downloaded "Driver: SF" and it actually worked. The old school Sega games were good for nostalgia purposes too.

I just wonder if this is is going to be a new era in the way full games are released. i.e. able to be played straight from XMB just like PSN games. That would be amazing.

Nice work team Duplex!!! I was never into driving games, but I have to admit that San Francisco looks pretty cool. @OMGnr1 - you don't need a dongle for any of the duplex psn releases. they usually come with 2 - 3 pkg files. run the install pkg, then the update pkg (if any) then finally the crack pkg and you're good to go

bobbobbins - Nah, you need to download the release from DUPLEX because it installs like a PSN game. You might be able to dissect the pkg files but it seems easier to just install it this way. No game manager required.

And yeah BahumatLord is right. The Driver contains 3 pkgs because of the 4GB limit of the FAT file system: All three of them are install files, but the third has the crack built into it.

@Anno1404, not a problem man. @BahumatLord I agree with you on that. I too am tired of the bitching and moaning. First sight of it, I close a thread. Sorry for been off topic guys but I think we have some great members here on psx-scene and would like for every MOD, ADMIN etc. to encourage those who are pleasant and discourage those who aren't. PS3 scene should not be all about drama but rather the respect for developers and the willingness to wait for advancements. Rome was not built in a day and neither is reverse engineering/programming. I am a programmer but not on this level. Thanks to all members and non members (why not join?).

Marvel Super Hero Squad Comic Combat PS3-DUPLEX is not a PSN release.

Marvel Super Hero Squad: Comic Combat puts the artist's pen in players
hands, enabling them to draw directly into the game world and determine the
fate of the Squaddies.

For the first time ever, players will use the uDraw stylus to command
Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and seven other Marvel Super Heroes in the
battle against Doctor Doom and his evil cohorts. The uDraw GameTablet
allows players to direct attacks, wield weapons and build barricades in the
Marvel Super Hero Squad universe. Players can even shake the uDraw
GameTablet to create an in-game earthquake!

Marvel Super Hero Squad: Comic Combat also features a distinctive
cel-shaded comic book art style that brings the characters to life, as well
as a variety of challenging new stages, including The Helicarrier, Baxter
Building, The Vault and Sanctum Sanctorum.

note about the duplex Marvel Super Hero Squad that I found. It was listed as a duplex psn pkg game, but the one I got was the disc version. Is this the only one out there or is there a working pkg release like the others? I'm pretty sure you need the udraw tablet, but I wanted to check this out for my niece when she visits to see if it was worth buying. She's a big Spider-Man fan
