[Breaking News] Mathieulh Decrypts LV0 of FW 3.73

Information spreads via mathieulh's twitter that he is at it again. The main guy who dumped the metldr, has just decrypted LV0 of firmware 3.73. However with the recent outbreak of his leaked exploit of pwnning of the metldr, and after releasing a tutorial of how to do it, Mathieulh has stated that he will not be releasing his findings (no surprise there) to the scene, like he did with the metldr exploit until it was leaked by an anonymous source.. Here is what he stated, when showing the proof of concept that he actually decrypted the LV0 at firmware 3.73.

I hate to quote myself, but on the same topic of putting up so called proof pictures and videos, whatever happened to that Nintendo 64 emulator that was being talked about months ago. I also remember some russian talking about making a windows program to convert PSP iso files into a playable format on PS3. They talked like this stuff was near completion and this was several months ago. I can tell you I can hotwire your ps3 into the computer inside of a lexus and tell you it will drive your car by itself. I could even come up with a couple screen shots and rig a remote control device to drive the car like they do sometimes on MythBusters and take a video of it. Doesn't make it true. This is all speculation and that is all it will ever be

Whats the bet that in a few weeks this will be "stolen" from him and he will be shouting oh they got it from me all over again. Mmmmm how the hell can the steal your code unless you give it to them or they make it to. same goes for the last time it was release by a no-one and then math jumps on to say they stole it from him. personally i think he cant handle people taking his lime light. and if he has decrypted lv0 and it gets "stolen" its because he wants someone to make a cfw for him to use and then say if it wasnt for him the scene would be dead. I think we should just forget it for now and if someone steals it and releases something good from it give them the praise not math. geohot is the greatest hacker the world has ever known math has nothing on him.

Woke up this morning and read this in the train, I lolled.

Either no one will get this and the scene can be buried and claimed dead (CFW-wise that is)

Or someone else figures out the same releases it or this is just something dont take it serious (They gonna hack into Math's pc and steal it)

There seems to be a lot of misplaced anger in this thread. Is it really math you're all mad at, or is the fact that you don't have any usable results yet? I thought code security was the enemy here, not a cracker with an ego. Nothing fuels ambition more than ego, to be honest. People who think they suck never try, and therefore never succeed. Blah blah, short version is, less time bashing someone who could care less about what you're angry about, and let's spend more time finding solutions. ie; rehashing the meta loader. Lv 0 might be connected, but the two are not all inclusive. The keys to the castle only unlocks the gates, not the treasure vault, as it were.

FYI "mate" if Math says he has done it he will have, he doesnt bullshit. I beleve the photo you see above will be a stock photo produced for the scene. If as you state he doesnt know and do shit may I ask you who was the first person to tell us about QA flagging?
He may not release anything but he does give hints and tips to people who are willing to do the work themselves.
I think that he doesnt release anything as he has a good job already and doent want to jepodise that just for a bit of messing around with a playstation.

Everyone is shouting that they want CFW but what is the point when PS will only change the keys again and forse up to update if we want to play new games.

I have recently got rid of my jailbreak because I want to play COD MW3 online but I must say the only thing I miss is being able to play my old ps1 games via multiman, that is all I did and didnt mess around with pirated games because the other stuff you could do and was released was good enough i.e the qa flagging and games people made to play, other os......

Why does the Admins post such news? If he won't bring it to the scene, then you should not post it as news... Look at this mass of trolls... On the other hand... Why we have to "suffer" for the mistakes, done by someone who release stuff that should not be public at this time?
