UPDATE - multiMAN ver 2.09.02

For those of you following the latest updates to multiMAN, by developer deank, a couple of new releases have been made since version 02.09.00 was unleashed. Version 02.09.01 brought us 3.41 CFW/MFW (not for dongle + 3.41 OFW) support for PSX backups, while version 02.09.02 brings more support for PSX backups. You can find the latest quotes from deank below, along with the current download.

Version 02.09.01:

Ok, some good news for 3.41MFW users. Thanks to an0nym0us the proper offsets for lv1 and lv2 in 3.41 were located and you can now enjoy the PSX games and direct-disc-access.

First post and online update available for version 02.09.01:

* Support for PSX backups on 3.41MFW (10x to an0nym0us for the lv1/lv2 offsets)

Have in mind that it won't work for 3.41OFW + dongle. You need to be on 3.41MFW with some patches:

Version 02.09.02:

First post updated with link to multiMAN 02.09.02.

Nothing major there and among few small tweaks I added something about PSX games.

When you start a PSX game, multiMAN will check if the game requires ps1emu or ps1netemu. There is a list of 160 games which seem to require ps1netemu to be used.

So if it happens that the game you start (using the regular "Load (PSX/PS3)") is found in the list, multiMAN will start the proper emulator.

It must be something your doing wrong, every one of them games work on my end.

Black screen for Spyro Year of the Dragon - Greatest Hits. I've had terrible luck with this one since PSX stuff started. Its the only one I want to play too, because it'll fix the glitched save on my legit console's PSN version of Spyro 3.

So have I. I've never been able to play Spyro 3, since PSX, it always stops working after the 2nd level. I wonder if we could do something...

I burned a .nrg a .bin and a iso, all black screen, all 4x on cd-r , multiman sees them but all i see is black, any suggestions?

yes burn at 1x speed - using imgburn (it's free) and burn the .cue file & they will work.

Honestly I burn at 8x speed or 16x speed. I rarely find burnable media that even supports burning so slowly.

Works great for me so far. Tested the following: Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Thrill Kill, Game Shark V5, Pipe Dreams.. Have many more to test when I get time, will report back with results.. What can you do when a backup turns out more than will fit on a cdr such as 759mb? Darkstone gave me this problem.. Haven't tried burning it to a dvd yet, suppose this would work? If not does anyone have any suggestions? slim_120g_hermes3.41

I had the black screen too. This is what I did to fix it...

Insert your disk before starting multiMan. (that's it). I loaded multiMan and tried popping in a game several times but to no success. After starting it with the game already in the drive I had no issues.

Doesn't come in. Just starts the screen saver. blah...

Burning to dvd doesn't work as I suspected it wouldnt, does anyone know if there is a program to slim down the ps1 backups to they will fit on a cdr? What about the overburn function by nero that was used for kvcd? Anyone have any ideas on this?

I also get black screen on duke nukem and it used to work before, I dont know why is that Ive tried everything sel+X turned on external (because the game is on my passportWD) BD mirror OFF.... it just wont work, BD mirror worked for darksiders btw, im on 3.41 ps3usbj. dongle, anyway I love multiman BIG thanks to the dev, I hope he will implement it in this new JFW they said that we wont be needing any managers but I still like to use multiman. Also if some1 knows how to install Mman themes please respond because I get some error msg.
